VOV eyeshadows are quite a hit or miss. Their Castledew Color Shot Eyes, Pearl-Up Eyes and Extreme Pearl Eyes are really good whereas their Color Song Eyes and Castledew Shirring Eyes are downright crap.
I received a Gmarket order about a week ago containing a cheap palette from VOV called "Candy Eyeshadow". It's a 6-pan palette with an included mirror and applicator all for less than US$10.
All colors are super sheer and dull. They are powdery so after applying my eyeshadow and mascara my lashes get a gray dirty cast I REALLY hate. I want black lashes, that's why I use mascara! I don't want gray lashes =X
The texture isn't that bad, they're not rough or so but a bit chalky, especially the matter colors. The shimmery colors show up more or less matte on me, too. The color pay-off leaves a lot to be desired and the dullness of the finish really bugs me.
All in all this palette gets a bit NAY.
I purchased color #607 (combo of purples, pinks and highlighters) which I picked out of about 5-6 available combos.
