Kiss Me Heroine Make 5th Anniversary set - Long & Curl Mascara + Mascara Remover

Heroine Make by Kiss Me is releasing more and more interesting items. I picked up their 5th Anniversary kit on Adambeauty recently as it´s a great value for money pack (I paid US$14.50).

This set contains:
-Long & Curl Mascara
-Mascara Remover
I am not usually a fan of lengthening mascaras but I thought this looked pretty interesting and I have always liked the volume formula from Kiss Me Heroine Make.
The Mascara Remover isn´t a product I would have been interested to purchase usually but since the set just costs a few $ more than the mascara alone I thought it would be a nice chance to try this, too.
The Long & Curl Mascara comes in a pretty deep burgundy colored tube and contains 6ml. The brush is thin and curved so it´s easy to use this without smudging any mascara on my lids.
The mascara promises lasting curl and 120% more length through fibers, it contains lash repair ingredients and is water-resistant so it won´t smudge.
I expected the mascara to be nice as it´s very popular but when I tried it I was totally wowed by the wonderful results it gives. Seems these days I am unexpectedly lucky with choosing the right mascaras and this Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara is seriously one of the best I tried recently. It´s not a wet or heavy formula but rather lightweight and yet it spreads easily without giving the impression that the mascara is dry.
It keeps the curl all day long, separates my lashes to give a full feathery effect, makes them look long and adds a bit of thickness. The fibers don´t give ugly spider legs but just long lush lashes. The mascara could be a tad bit more black but actually it´s really just a perfect product.

This removes easily with cleansing oil and a bit of eye makeup remover but doesn´t smudge or flake during the day at all.

Before:
With a little of Majolica Majorca Lash Base and 3 coats of the Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara. First curled with a Koji curler.
Rating 5/5

The Mascara Remover comes in a cute pink tube with a coil-shaped comb applicator.
How to use: Just coat lashes with the liquid using the included comb, leave it on the eyes for 2-3 minutes and then wipe off with a cotton pad.
The liquid feels a bit oily but doesn´t sting or burn in my eyes.
This product definitely works and would be convenient for traveling since the container with 4ml will last through many removals however this product is totally inconvenient for daily use. The whole process takes about 4 minutes or so while washing everything off with cleansing oil and regular eye makeup remover takes 1-2 minutes max.

Rating 3/5

Overall a good value pack but the Mascara Remover is only useful if you travel a lot or to throw in your purse for those cases when you have/want to remove your mascara on the go.
The Long & Curl Mascara is really fab, so worth purchasing!

Skin Food Milk Shake Point Make-Up Remover

I haven´t purchased anything from Skin Food in ages but after reading this review on Musings of a Muse I decided I definitely wanted to try it.

The Skin Food Milk Shake Point Make-Up Remover comes in a pretty bottle which contains 160ml. It´s a dual-phase remover which I need as I always wear waterproof mascaras (the majority of Japanese mascaras seem to be waterproof by default btw).

The 2 phases are white and purple and mix into a white milky liquid when you shake the bottle. They need some time to separate unlike the majority of dual-phase cleansers as they usually go back into their 2 phases very quickly after shaking.

The Milk Shake Point Make-Up Remover has a very light nice scent which reminds me of coconut milk but it´s really light and barely noticable.

The cleansing power of this is downright awesome. Just soak your cotton pads and this stuff really removes all kinds of waterproof mascaras and shadows etc. like a breeze without much rubbing and tugging around. I also don´t experience any burning or stinging sensation so I am very happy with this.
The Muse had problems as this gave her a blurred vision which to my delight doesn´t happen to me. But it could be because I remove my eye makeup, then use my cleansing oil (also around my eyes) and regular cleanser and then my Rohto Eye Wash Lotion.

I got this on eBay (seller skinfoodbestprice) for US$13.99 incl. shipping to Austria. Not the cheapest remover but the bottle will last quite a while and the product itself is excellent. The seller was friendly and included some samples but it took her 2 weeks to ship my item which annoyed me a lot. Next time I will contact rumistyle and skinfood2you to see for how much they offer this!

Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer kit (Perfect Lash version)

As you might guess my previous Gmarket order contained a lot of Etude House stuff. I think I have now most of the stuff I am interested from them (and I still want some eyeliners and other small things) and who knows which new things come along!

The only mascara from Etude House I tried was the Vitcara mascara which comes with a comb applicator. I am not that fond of it as it's lengthening, has fibers and just doesn't give any real drama or something so I rarely reach for it.

I was definitely interested in trying another mascara from Etude House so I ordered the new 3 Proof Mascara for 9000 and a lash kit that contains 3 items for 14000 Won.

The kit contains:
-Dr. Mascara Fixer Perfect Lash
-Oh M'Eye Lash Maxivolume Mascara

-Mascara Remover

-pocket mirror
(as gift)

-Dr. Mascara Fixer for Perfect Lash:

(this has been updated/deleted).
I have to correct myself. My first guess was right that this is a mascara topcoat to volumize, hold the curl and waterproof the mascara. I was a bit confused as I found different descriptions online some stating it's a lash base some stating it's a top coat. The majority says it's a top coat and the name also was the point that made me think it's one. Anyway, i used it both ways and it works lol. It's a good top coat then and holds my curl very well.

-Oh M'Eye Lash Maxivolume Mascara:

This is actually one of the cheapest mascaras I tried recently (only 4000 Won, below US$4!) and it's a pretty good volumizing curl-keeping mascara! I didn't really expect to like this but it's a darn good thing!
My lashes don't feel super soft when I am wearing this but not hard and crispy either. The formula isn't overly wet which I prefer.
This is waterproof so it holds up really well.
RRP 4000 Won

-Mascara Remover:

A bi-phase eye makeup remover. Gets rid of waterproof mascara really quickly without much rubbing. Also this doesn't sting like some other harsher eye makeup removers I tried.
I am pretty satisfied with this!
RRP 4000 Won

As you see the 3 products add to a total of 14000 Won so the kit doesn't save you any money. But you get a free mirror so it's pretty good for me (and after all 14000 Won isn't a lot for 3 great products).

There is also a kit available with the Dr. Mascara Fixer for Natural Lash instead of the Perfect Lash version.
