Holika Holika Moisture Petit BB SPF 30 PA++

The Moisture Petit BB SPF 30 PA++ was a freebie from Holika Holika as I hauled products worth more than 60000 Won (around US$55). That´s quite a good freebie if you ask me as the tube is a 30ml size, so possibly full-sized.

I think the tube looks cute, I really like that cat and the purple colors used.
To be honest I was quite out of the BB loop in favor of regular foundation as most foundations just look better and many BB creams have the tendency to get clumpy or cakey when topped with powder. Also the color match wasn´t always ideal and the heavy silicone feeling turned me off, too.

Anyway, the Moisture Petit BB is a thick smooth cream with a distinctive floral scent. It´s rather strong but fades some minutes after application (or my nose gets used to it...whatever). It offers incredible coverage even for a BB cream so a little of this stuff gives me almost flawless skin covering all the redness and small freckles on my cheeks.

The color is very light with a slight yellowish tone. It blends in perfectly with my skin and dries down to a smooth but not greasy finish within a few minutes taking the heavy feeling out of the cream.

Lasting power is good, when I wear this on my lazy no-makeup days without powder I reapply this after about 4-5 hours (if I am out in the sun).
Like most other BB creams this doesn´t like to be combined with powder as it can look cakey and blotchy but since it feels very comfortable without powder and has this gorgeous dewy glow this is a nice product all in all.

Adambeauty haul incl. Baby Foot Easy Pack

Despite going to Hong Kong in a few weeks I wanted to pick up a few goodies from Adambeauty before my trip, especially a Baby Foot Easy Pack as I wanted pretty feet before I go there (and since I can´t just order 1 thing I picked up a few other goodies as well) =P

Actually I didn´t try any of those foot peeling packs as the pics you see of feet during the process are downright disgusting! But the overall reviews online seem very good so I thought I will bear with the yuckiness for the sake of pink baby-soft feet.
If you are interested in what´s Baby Foot Easy Pack please click here! There are numerous other brands but I wanted to try the original product from Japan =)

Anyway, I used the Baby Foot Easy Pack the day before yesterday at night but so far there is nothing strange going on. The peeling process is supposed to start 2-5 days after application so I am curious how soon I will have to hide my feet with socks lol. To be honest my feet are in quite a good shape but there is some hard skin and slight sallow discoloration in certain areas so I hope to see good results soon!

A proper review will be posted in 2-3 weeks, whenever the process is finished (if it starts at all haha)

Oh and got this cute card pocket as a freebie from Yozocraft a while ago. Just think the Chinglish text is way cute hehe

Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner

Liquid eyeliner has always been a tricky thing for me...that was until I discovered the joys of super slim Japanese eyeliner pens!

My first and still one of the best products was the Supersharp Liner from Kanebo Kate. But many Japanese brands have their own version of this kind of eyeliner now and today I proudly present you my current favorite and daily staple from the Kiss Me Heroine Make range.

The Smooth Liquid Eyeliner comes in the signature burgundy packaging and should be shaken before use (you will hear a click-click when shaking).

The applicator is a flexible slim brush which doesn´t splay at all. It applies the super fine line easily and evenly so to line my eyes I need about a minute or so. The ink is pretty black but I usually draw the line a couple of times.
You can also get a thicker line which works nicely, too.

Overall a perfect liquid liner anyone could use with great results, even beginners!

Costs around US$11-12 or so on Adambeauty and lasts for long time even with daily use. I have my pen for around 5-6 months now and use it almost daily. I used this liner with the majority of my previous EOTDs posted in eyeshadow reviews btw =)

Etude House Bubble Hair Coloring in #1 Deep Black

Jumping on the Japanese bubble hair dye bandwagon Etude House released their own version offering 4 colors of foaming hair dye. I picked up the red and black ones but won´t be using the red one any time soon.
Currently I love my hair darker, if possible a deep ashy black so the Bubble Hair Coloring in #1 Deep Black looked right up my alley.

Here are the contents of the kit:
You get a bottle, a bigger sachet with the 2nd agent you have to pour inside the bottle, hair treatment (I believe it´s a leave-in type but haven´t tried it), instructions, gloves and cape.
This hair color contains "Micro Bubble Booster" which helps in creating a very dense and fluffy lather and in my honest opinion that´s quite true, this is one of the finest bubble hair dyes I have tried so far, giving me the feeling that the texture of the Prettia dyes is a bit outdated.
This is used like most other hair dyes: mix the 2 agents in the bottle, don´t shake, only gently tilt the bottle a few times, put on the gloves and cape, apply bubble dye to dry hair evenly coating all your hair, leave on for around 30 mins, rinse color, wash with shampoo and conditioner/treatment and dry.

To me the dye feels quite mild, there is no overly pungent smell and my hair feels quite soft and nice after dyeing and washing. Staying power is quite good, I re-dyed my hair with the same color about 5 weeks after the first as my roots started to show.
Overall a good hair dye though honestly there isn´t much a company could do wrong about black hair color! Love the super fine foam and ease of application as there is absolutely no dripping or mess during application.
I got this on Gmarket for around US$7 from etudegmark.
Overall this gets a
Rating of 5/5 for the #1 Deep Black color

Kiss Me Heavy Rotation Milky Color Lips in 03 Sweet PInk

Currently matte pale lips are a trend among some Japanese brands, especially the inexpensive ones targeted towards young girls. Even though my lips are always in a good condition I find it difficult to pull that look off but sometimes I like it with a very deeply defined eye makeup.

Kiss Me added a range of matte pale lippies to their Heavy Rotation line recently and I picked up the one that looked like most wearable aka pink color for me.

The Milky Color Lips come in quite plain packaging, black plastic with a golden print. Quite boring but for US$11 (price on Adambeauty) one can´t expect very elaborate packaging, right?

The lipstick has a slick texture but dries down quickly to a satiny matte slightly powdery feel. It´s comfortable to wear on top of a lipbalm but alone it feels too dry for me. Like the other pale matte lippies you should let it set as it might look uneven and blotchy upon application but will look fine after a couple of minutes.
The Milky Color Lips carries a distinctive strawberry scent but is not flavored.

03 is a light milky pink...for some weird reason looks more peachy in the tube but light pink when applied.

Overall this is a good matte lipstick for an affordable price so it´s a nice choice to have in your stash or if you like a good deal anyway =) Still the matte pale lips isn´t my kind of thing for daily life as I just prefer regular glossy Japanese lipsticks in natural colors!

False Lasches/Falsies from KKCenterHK (ES and DJ brands)

I recently received some false lashes from KKCenterHK for revieweing purpose so here are my thoughts/quick review.

I picked 3 packets of lashes from 2 different brands. As you see there are 10 pairs per style and these can be reused so they should last quite a while!
There is no glue included so I used one from Koji I had here at home.

I got the ES lashes in A200 and A852 and from DJ I got the ones in 600 Purple. These are made in Korea!
Love the Chinglish instructions on the ES lashes =P

A200 are soft feathery but long lashes. With their clear band they look really so pretty with a natural eye look!

A852 are a bit more dramatic:

And here are the ones from DJ in 600 Purple, my favorites =) These look very subtle but add a little bit of color. Really nice! I believe these are made in Taiwan.

I am a bit of a klutz when it comes to applying falsies but I was able to master the A200 and 600 Purple lashes. Sorry for not posting EOTD pics but none of them came out clearly =( But the lashes seem very nice to me and feel comfortable when wearing them. My next giveaway will contain a few pairs of all 3 kinds so stay tuned =)

Shipping was very fast and the people there are very friendly and helpful! I recommend buying from KKCenterHk for those interested in false lashes =)
