Lavshuca Star Glow Rouge RD-2 and PK-2

I picked up a couple more colors from Lavshuca´s Star Glow Rouge series back in January and February as Adambeauty finally started to list them.

First I got PK-2 and later RD-2 as both looked like gorgeous colors. I reviewed 2 of the colors in this post so check it out for more details!

The texture is really nice and creamy albeit (depending on the color) slightly scratchy due to the amount of fine shimmer particles. This is something that doesn´t personally bother me (unless it´s huge glitter) but I thought it should be mentioned.

PK-2 is a pearly, almost frosty light orangey pink and feels a little more dry than the other colors. Not my personal fave!

RD-2 on the other hand is absolutely gorgeous! A natural, pearly and highly glistening creamy natural pink red which adds such nice dimension to my lips. My favorite out of all colors I got

The price on Adambeauty is very reasonable (US$13.50) which is even some $ below the retail price (depending on the exchange rate).

Fall 2010: Lavshuca Dramatic Memory Liquid Rouge (various colors)

I reviewed one of the Dramatic Memory Liquid Rouge glosses from Lavshuca´s last fall collection here. Since I liked it so much I was happy to see Adambeauty finally stocked it so I grabbed a few more colors.

As I described before this is a very nicely pigmented and smooth kind of liquid lipstick/lipgloss. I can´t detect any serious stickiness but the gloss is a bit on the thicker side.
Lasting power is good for a gloss and the colors have a pretty glossy finish.
Retails for 1260 Yen for 2.7g of gloss. I paid around US$13 on Adambeauty.

Here are the new colors I got (they are all quite similar to each other actually):
PK-1: A pretty natural light coral pink with fine shimmer

RD-1: My favorite, a pretty mauvey pink with shimmer

RD-3: A bright and fresh tangerine-tinged pink

RD-4: A sheer juicy red, not as pigmented as I expected. Only swatched it on  my arm for this pic and then sold it so no lip swatch, sorry!

While these colors aren´t as pigmented as my beloved one in RD-2 which still remains my favorite color of all still these are excellent pigmented lipglosses that look beautiful and wear comfortably.
I deducted 0.5 points for the lesser amount of pigment.

Fall 2010: Lavshuca Liquid Rouge RD-2

For some weird reason I totally missed the new Liquid Rouge range from Lavshuca that came out for the past fall season. I stumbled across it on Ichibankao a while ago and ordered one of the glosses in RD-2 to try this product out.

The Liquid Rouge looks pretty much like the version from Kate, starting from the tube down to the texture of this stuff. Well, Lavshuca and Kate are both Kanebo brands so I am not wondering about that.
Packaging is quite simple for Lavshuca standards as usually their lipsticks come in quite elaborate tubes.

The applicator is a very soft doe-foot type which distributes the right amount of gloss effortlessly.
I just LOVE the thick pigmented and highly glossy texture of the Liquid Rouge. If you don´t like sticky or thick glosses this might not be for you but if you want a really pigmented gloss this is perfect. It spreads like a dream and stays put for several hours with the most gorgeous glossy shine.

This is unscented and comes in an array of rather neutral colors.

RD-2 is the most beautiful shimmery pink-beige ever. It´s a very natural flattering color, really love it! I know it´s like 100000 of my lippies but I just dig this kind of color so I always end picking up similar shades lol

To me it was a bit pricey but it was worth every Cent. A pity that Adambeauty doesn´t list this product.

Xmas 2010: Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes in PK-1

Lavshuca´s new palettes are really good, maybe you remember me saying that I´d get the one in PK-1 whenever Adambeauty will list it...and yep, I purchased it recently (for US$20 which is pretty much the same as the Japanese retail price of 1680 Yen) :P
Here are my reviews for BR-2 and here for PU-1 and GN-1
I won´t go into detail regarding texture etc. Like the other palettes PK-1 has a super smooth and silky and nicely pigmented texture with great blendabilty, lasting-power and a pearly-metallic finish.

PK-1 is a quad of taupe-brown, white, medium pink and a glittery yellow top-coat shade. The color combo isn´t unique but the quality is quite outstanding for a drugstore brand so it´s worth purchasing this palette if you are in search of such eyeshadow colors.

Overall this palette is just like the others from this range, great quality and a good price for such lovely product.

Xmas 2010: Kanebo Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes BR-2 & Star Glow Rouge RS-1 & RD-3

As promised here is my review for a few more Lavshuca holiday products. I am really fond of the Star Decoration Eyes palettes so I purchased the neutral one in BR-2 as well. Please read my review of PU-1 and GN-1 here!

The Star Decoration Eyes look really gorgeous, just like jewels. I won´t go into details regarding packaging and texture though as I reviewed them thoroughly in my previous review.

The shadows in this palette are as silky and super smooth and very pigmented. I also love the gorgeous metallic finish and blendability of these colors.
Only the color in the center has a glittery texture as it´s meant to be used as a top-coat (and it looks very pretty when used as such!)

BR-2 is a very neutral palette that should work with about any skin-tone and eyecolor. The colors are ivory, medium brown, dark brown and a pink glittery shade.

If you are looking for a cute and high-quality neutral brown palette this is definitely worth your consideration!

I am probably going to pick up PK-1, too, whenever it pops up on Adambeauty =)

Retails for 1680 Yen.

The new Star Glow Rouge lipsticks looked a bit bland and matte on the swatches provided on the Lavshuca website. I thought that´s a bit odd as matte colors aren´t that festive for the holiday season, maybe unless it´s a vibrant deep red or so.

I purchased 2 colors as I supposed that the "Glow" in the name of the lipstick would indicate that they aren´t matte.

The Star Glow Rouge lipsticks come in really pretty swivel-up tubes with a rhinestone on the top. These are regular sized lipsticks (3.8g) and cost 1575 Yen.

The lipsticks have a wonderful creamy texture which wears comfortably even for longer time. They feel quite hydrating but aren´t too glossy or oily/slick.
They show up very well on me so I´d say these are medium-pigmented.

The finish is creamy, shiny and with shimmer. Verrrrrrrrry pretty!
Of course these are unscented like all other Lavshuca lipsticks.

RS-1 is a cool pink

RD-3 is a pretty natural reddish pink.

Again great products from Lavshuca, this brand is really getting better and better in my opinion. I got mine from Ichibankao.

Xmas 2010: Kanebo Lavshuca Star Decoration Eyes PU-1 & GN-1 + Perfect Gloss SPF21 PA+

I can never skip new eyeshadow palettes from Lavshuca... this brand has grown into one of my favorites over the past year as there were some really good releases. The Natural Beauty collection was my favorite summer release this year!
For Xmas there is quite a large collection featuring new eyeshadows, lipsticks and a lip base/gloss.

I picked up a total of 3 of the new Star Decoration Eyes palettes, the Perfect Gloss and 2 of the new Star Glow Rouge lipsticks. So far I have received 2 of the palettes and the gloss so I´ll review the other 2 items later.

The Star Decoration Eyes are very cute small compacts incl. 4 shadows/each. They look really princessy and the shadows are arranged like some jewelry so I think they look very pretty.

The range features 2 brown palettes, a pink, a purple and a green quad. I first got the purple and green quads as they looked interesting but also picked up the cooler brown quad which I will hopefully received by next Tuesday (EMS shipping is usually predictable =P).
I love the texture of the Melting Eyes quads that came out for summer as they were very soft and pigmented so I hoped the Star Decoration Eyes would have the same formula.

And to my greatest delight these palettes have a super silky and smooth texture with great color pay-off. Seriously, these babies are very pigmented for a Japanese drugstore brand! The finish of the 3 outer shadows is somewhere between intense pearl shimmer and metallic whereas the middle is the inevitable Japanese glitter shade.

Lasting-power is good, e.g. I wore the purple quad for about 14 hours and even had forgotten the eyelid base and there was only a bit of fading and creasing going on.

The color schemes are all a bit on the pastel side which makes them very suitable for spring and summer.
The colors are definitely not unique or outstanding but the overall quality makes them a worthwhile investment if you are looking for those kind of shadows.

PU-1 includes lavender, white, plummy brown and sparkly pink.

GN-1 is a combination of a rather bright fresh grass green, pale green, olive-brown and sparkly light beige.

Retail price is 1680 Yen.

The Perfect Gloss is a very thick balm to be used as a lipstick base or as a lip care gloss. It comes in a cute squeeze-tube and is unscented and unflavored.

It has a milky pink color when squeezed out but applies clear. I really like the thick texture which lasts very long, gives a pretty glossy sheen and feels moisturizing.

When using this as a lipstick base I dab on really little but the slightly sticky texture helps the lipstick to cling to my lips and look even.
Contains a sun protection of SPF21 PA+.
The 8g tube retails for 600 Yen.

Overall a lovely little product!

Both products can be purchased from Ichibankao and Mihokoshop, Adambeauty will probably have this soon, too.
