Gmarket haul (Etude House is generous with freebies again!) =D

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
I got couple of gift certificates from Gmarket´s Top Blogger Event stuck on my account along with some shipping refunds from my last orders from February and I was in need of some black hair dye so I placed an order last Thursday and Friday =)

My order arrived already as of today as both sellers (etudegmark and 밀려오레) shipped super fast. As a matter of fact I first placed an order for 3 Etude House hair dyes, 2 from Somang and couple of cute stationery sets but the stationery was canceled Friday morning and I got my refund right away... Since I didn´t want to just receive a non-fun package of just a few hair dyes I did another Etude House haul as I noticed they had a cute new hair care range out! =D
Etude House was extremely generous with their free gifts this time around even though only a few were pictured in their "event". I got 3 packs of cotton pads, 2x q-tips, 3 hair mask samples (30ml each, quite generous!), 2 face washs (30ml each), some skincare sets from Moistfull and Moistfull Aloe, an eyebrow razor/mirror/lash comb, a makeup bag, 15 (!!) Moistfull sheet masks and an Acerola face gel (as it was a BOGOF (=1+1 free) offer!). Please note all these gifts arrived with 2 different orders but combined into 1 international shipment =)

These are the items I actually ordered:

Silk Scarf shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, 3 hair dyes in black, Acerola face gel and those interesting Golden Ratio face contouring chalks (or whatever you call them.

Overall this was the best experience with Etude House for long time as they used to be super generous with samples and freebies, then were getting REALLY stingy and now I got really a lot of nice and useful extras!
Totally recommend ordering now!

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow repostswith proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
Sorry, another stationery haul post =X But I just love cute stationery (and yes, I do share with all my kids so often not much of it is left over for me haha) and cute stationery hauls usually just look nice on pics =D
One of my favorite sellers right now is glenns2634 on eBay who is located in Japan and is listing the cutest erasers, pens etc.
Here is the haul:

The Sakura Collection pens from Ballsign are my fave item, 10 pens in pink-tones! How sweet =D

Adambeauty haul

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!

Since I came back from Hong Kong I naturally didn´t really haul much beauty stuff online as I got a lot of things when I was there.
But I placed an Adambeauty order recently and it just came today so thought of doing a small haul post.

The haul contains a mascara and a liner from Kiss Me Heavy Rotation...since I am so fond of the liner and mascara from their Heroine Make brand I hope these will be just as nice!
The 2 Coffret d´or eyeshadows were on sale for just US$7 or so each... the tinted PDC sun lotion was on my wish list for long so finally I ordered it.
Individual reviews will follow soon =)

Aube Couture Designing Shine Eyes 532 & Designing Premium Rouge RS382

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
Since Aube got its revamp and was renamed to Aube Couture the brand has become one of my faves, especially their lipsticks...but I also love some of the eyeshadows!

When I was in Hong Kong there was a Sofina Aube Couture promo going on: buy 2 makeup items and receive a deluxe travel sized Sofina Beauté cleansing milk for free. Since I wanted to buy couple of things anyway I took the chance =)

I purchased the Designing Shine Eyes in 532 (review of 534 here) and a Designing Premium Rouge in RS382 (I reviewed 4 other colors here).

The Designing Shine Eyes comes in a pretty metallic pink case with mirror and high-quality applicators included. You get 4 powders shades, the one in the circle is just a sheer glitter to dust over the other colors though.

The shadows are silky and quite pigmented for a Japanese brand, especially the lid color. The finish is different for each color and will be noted below.
Staying power is good when used over a primer and the eyeshadows don´t cause any irritations at all (on my eyes at least).

532 is the pink combo. I just fell in love with the palette in the store so I picked this one out. It contains a neutral brown (slight shimmer), a dusty rose (very shimmery), pale ivory (this has more of a pearl finish) and a white glitter shade.

The overall look I can achieve with this is a flattering soft feminine eye makeup. Totally love this and I am still astonished how well the pink works!
Rating 4.5/5

The Designing Premium Rouge is just awesome stuff, it´s a pigmented liquid lipstick or creamy gloss with a moist and glossy finish.

I also love the pretty metallic tube and the weirdly shaped applicator which is perfect in applying the liquid.

RS382 is a beautiful deep rose plum (will definitely be a gorgeous fall color, too!)

Rating 5/5
I don´t remember exactly how much I paid but it was surprisingly little (at least I remember it was really cheap)...HK prices were definitely good =)

Oh and here is a pic of my fave drink in HK: Bubble Milk Tea! I totally miss it!!

My first order from Bonjour HK

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!I visited Bonjour shops in Hong Kong quite a lot as it´s one of the big drugstore chains there but when it came to ordering (mainly Japanese/Korean/Taiwanese skincare, hair stuff and body stuff) online I was sticking with Sasa as they have a great selection of products, really cheap prices (partly up to 70% off of Japanese retail prices, generally at least 10-20% cheaper) and shipping is free if I order products worth a certain amount. Also I have the VIP card so I am getting an extra 5% off and can redeem products with the points I am collecting with every purchase.
But since Bonjour has its own website I decided to place an order there, especially since they have a relatively good variety of bath powders for really cheap and free shipping (so important for such heavy items!) if you order over a certain value so I purchased some items there.

What I noticed negatively there was the amount of products that showed out of stock...really, the majority of products was OOS actually! But I found a good bunch of goodies anyway so was looking forward to receiving my order. I also upgraded my free shipping to EMS shipping for a mere HK$80 (and my box weighed close to 8 kg!)

A day after placing my order I received an email telling me one item was out of stock so I had to cancel it to proceed with my order. I emailed them to cancel it and 3 days later got the same email again. I called the customer service in Hong Kong (the lady was really friendly) and she told me they had not received my reply =(
A few days later I got the information that my order was being packed but they had to cancel another item as it´s a compressed gas can (it was a deodorant)...quite annoying actually. Why could I order it then in the first place?
Anyway, it took around 8 days for my order to be shipped after placing it so that was quite a bit longer than I had expected!

Things came well packed and padded and the value on the parcel was declared correctly so I paid customs fees, too (which I had expected and included in my order value calculations).

These are the items I ordered (I also ordered a 2nd of that orange body oil and couple more Tsubaki shampoo/conditioner bottles but gave them to my mum right after I received the order and before taking the pic below):

That anti-wrinkle serum is a freebie and seems quite nice!

Overall not the best online shopping experience and all in all their order processing is a bit unprofessional for such a famous and big drugstore chain like Bonjour.
For items I can get on Sasa I would always prefer this site over Bonjour but I am happy with the items I ordered so all in all it was a good thing to order there.

Rating for Bonjour:
Site (layout, navigation etc.): 4/5
Item selection: 2.5/5 as so much was OOS!
Telephone customer service: 5/5
Email customer service: 1/5 as my email didn´t even arrive!
Processing time: 2/5
Shipping costs: 5/5 (free shipping and cheap EMS upgrade!)
Packing: 5/5
Item condition upon arrival: 5/5 (nothing old/expired/leaked etc.)

Cosmetic Candy Shop - Get cute stationery, jewellery and beauty tools

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!

My blogger buddy Rowena from Cosmetic Candy opened her own online shop Cosmetic-Candy-Shop for cute stationery, beauty tools and jewellery from Asia!
I received a package with a great assortment of items from her:

I got this beautiful ring with a pink stone:

And falsies plus applicator:

A mascara helper incl. lash comb:

A foaming net (I love these nets and use one for quite some time already. Helps to create thick lush lather with any kind of foaming cleanser!)

And these silicone massage face pads are really neat! The handles are also suction cups to attach the pads to the bathroom wall:

Some cute stationery... Love the cute cat-themed triple notepad and notebook! The pen is so cute, too!

I definitely recommend checking out her shop=D!
