BB Creams: Quick comparison V

Since my last quick comparison post I accumulated another stash of BB Creams =) I am totally addicted to BB Creams... I think it's the ease of using them and the pretty finish they give.
I was always first drawn towards eyeshadow palettes but nowadays the first thing I like to check out in a brand totally new to me is a BB Cream =X

Anyways, I have accumulated another 8 new BB Creams so it's about time to post short reviews and swatches.

1: Lioele Water Drop BB Lioele Aqua Makeup SPF27 PA++:

I have already reviewed this here.
It's very lightweight and sheer but gives a very moisturized soft feeling to my skin. However even though it's sheer the color is too dark for me.
I got this in the kit for 29000 Won (the kit also included a lipgloss, blusher and 5 sheet masks)
The cream is only lightly scented.
Squeeze-tube contains 50ml

2: Clio Whitening BB Cream SPF17:

I found this on Gmarket by coincidence. It was supposed to come with a free mini lipgloss trio and a powder but the seller (the one listed in my Gmarket sellers list who carries Banila Co) seems o have forgotten my gift =(
The BB Cream has the typical thicker texture and offers sheer-medium coverage. However the color is too dark for me (though it looks light and applies light but oxidises after short time) and the scent of the BB Cream is a bit strong. It's nothing special.
I paid 27000 Won for this 60ml tube

3: Banila Co Let Me Finish Prime BB Cream SPF 27 PA++:

I have reviewed the other Let Me Finish Multiple BB Cream SPF27 PA++ here.
The Prime BB Cream offers a higher sunscreen than the Multiple one but otherwise I honestly can't tell much of a difference away from the color.
The Prime BB Cream has a slightly lighter texture than most other BB Creams and offers sheer-medium coverage. The color match is ok for my skin-tone though it's on the darker side of the spectrum whereas the Multiple BB Cream is quite pale and pink-toned.
The pump-dispenser squeeze tube is a nice and hygienic way of packaging.
I paid 20000 Won for my 35ml tube and received a free Aqua Gloss, some samples and a box of cottons as extras.

4: Rita Rove W So Lightsome BB Cream for all skin types:

I already reviewed this here.
This is a great basic BB Cream with sheer-medium coverage and the typical light grayish pink color and thicker waxy texture that most BB Creams come in.
I can't detect a scent.
This came as free gift with the purchase of 2 W So Lightsome powders. Contains 50ml.

5: Etude House Speedy Total Base SPF35 PA++ 3 in 1:

This is not labeled as a BB Cream but I see it listed on eBay as a BB Cream and the concept of having your makeup base, foundation and sunscreen in 1 product is typical for BB Creams.
The cream comes in a cute pink squeeze-tube and comes in 2 colors. The lighter color of the two is #2 which is unusual. I guess they first only sold it in color #1 and decided to release a lighter-toned one later so it ended up being #2. Anyway, the cream is really pale and doesn't have the typical gray undertone, rather a peachy tone to it.
It blends in nicely with my natural skin color but offers only sheer coverage. The texture is also lighter than the typical BB Cream.
It's a good choice if you have little to cover and prefer a BB Cream without gray tones.
It carries a slightly strong floral perfume.
The tube contains 50ml and costs only 9500 Won.

6: Jadilla J Skinguard BB Plus:

As I noted in one of my earlier Jadilla J posts this was the BB Cream I initially wanted to get instead of the Whitening BB Plus but it looked dark in the pic so I skipped it. Well, curiosity won and I ended up ordering it (it came with a lip tint, mini powder compact and BB Cream deluxe sample tube).

The Skinguard BB Plus comes in an iridescent pale pink tube which looks very cute and princessy.
However, the color is too dark as I had expected. I think this would work very well if you're naturally lightly tan or about a NC25-30 in MAC.
Is lightly scented (a fresh pleasant perfume) and contais 50ml.
I paid 23000 or so for my tube incl. the gifts included.

7: Tony Moly BB Expert Triple Blemish Balm Cream SPF 45 PA+++:

I believe this is the BB Cream with the strongest sunscreen (Missha Perfect Cover is very good, too).
I quite like this BB Cream as it is a good color match and offers medium coverage. It has the typical thick texture and grayish undertones I am used to from most BB Creams.
Tony Moly Expert BB Cream has a light pleasant scent and applies very smoothly.
The tube contains 50ml.
I believe I paid about 15000 Won for my tube.

8: Tony Moly Secret BB Cream Brighter:

This comes in the most adorable box and tube. Very vintage and cute! I really love it!
The cream comes in the colors "Brighter" and "Natural". I decided to go for the lighter version and I am really pleased with it.
This is the perfect choice if you can't pull off the gray tones in most pale BB Creams. The Secret BB Cream sports a more peachy color but manages not to look orange on me but really brightens up my complexion.
It offers only sheer coverage despite its thick texture but with a tiny bit of foundation, concealer and powder the result is perfect.
Carries a light scent and makes my skin feel super soft.
This is quite cheap at about 9800 Won for 50ml.

You can probably expect a Quick Comparison VI soon hehe. I have the Skin79 Dream Girl BB Cream and couple of others coming in the mail =D

Lioele Water Drop BB kit

I haven't paid much attention to Lioele lately as there didn't seem to be anything really new or interesting out and also they decided not to ship internationally via Gmarket anymore.
They changed their mind and ship worldwide now (with the exception of Japan, Singapore and Malaysia I believe) so I stumbled across their new Water Drop BB Lioele Aqua Makeup packed together with some other nice things for 29000 Won so I decided to give the set a shot.

-Water Drop BB Lioele Aqua Makeup SPF27 PA++:

This comes in a pretty light blue squeeze tube which is very different from their usual pink packaging.
It's one of those super light BB Creams that sink into the skin right away leaving it moisturized but without the balmy feeling other BB Creams have.
The coverage of this is VERY sheer so it doesn't even out my skin much. My main problem is the color though. Even though it's very sheer it still shows up quite yellow and too dark for me so unfortunately this BB Cream is not suitable for my skin tone. I suspected this when I ordered it as the other BB Cream (Beyond The Solution BB Cream) was too yellow and a tad too dark, too, but on the swatch it looked more neutral so I decided to give it a try. I think this would be a very good choice for someone with oilier, warmer toned skin who doesn't need a lot of coverage.
A swatch will be posted in my next BB Cream comparison post.

-Blooming Cushion Touch Blusher:

Those blushers with the loose powder filled into a container with a sponge seem to be the hit all over the world now. Japanese brands make them (e.g. Coffret D'or, Aube), Korean brands have them (Banila Co, Lioele and some others) and even the local brands here like S-He Stylezone and Essence sell them. I don't know why they're popular as all of them just suck in my opinion. I have to pat them on the back on my hand to get the powder to the surface and then slap that thing into my face very hard to get any color showing up. I personally believe my cheeks just turn reddish because of the hard pressure =P
The Lioele is no way better. The color I got (#1) is a very chalky pale pink but it doesn't show up no matter how hard I try. I could just screw the sponge off and dip a brush into the powder but I am honestly too lazy. I am not a fan of loose blushers/powders/eyeshadows of any sort!

This is also available in an orange color (#2)
Sorry, Lioele, this gets a nay from me.

-Blooming Gloss:

This is a pretty nice slick gloss with decent lastability and a soft glossy finish. It has a pleasant fruity scent and just a bit of fine shimmer.
All in all a good and comfortable to wear gloss in a pretty soft sheer warm pink color (I picked #2 out of the 3 available choices).

The kit also comes with a Lioele Perfect Essence Mask Set (5 free different sheet masks) and retails for 29000 Won. A shame that 2 of the items don't really work for me... I see it more as a waste of money =(
I also ordered another bigger kit which I'll review later.

With the purchse of 3 or more products there are bonus gifts available. Since both kits I ordered contained a total of 9 items I qualified for the best GWP (buy 7+ items): a pretty and very useful makeup pouch (which I really love now) and a package of wet makeup remover wipes. I also got a deluxe sample sized tube of their Beyond The Solution BB Cream and plenty of sample sachets packed along with a coupon to use for my next order (though it probably will be useless for me as I can't order from their website and I doubt they take coupons in their Gmarket store)....

BB Creams: Quick comparison II

I already did a post on 7 BB creams and here is my 2nd part presenting you another 10 mini reviews and swatches.

If you're new to BB Creams please click on the link above where I explain what are the benefits and purposes of BB Creams.

1: Etude BB Bright Cream:

Comes in a cute pink squeeze tube with black pump dispenser. Has a light herbal scent and contains 60ml. I honestly can't say much about how this performs as it's downright too dark for me so I haven't really worn this. Medium thick cream feels smooth upon application. Offers sheer-medium coverage.
Not sure about retail, probably somewhere around 10000-15000 Won

2: Dodo Club BB Cream:

This is a 4-in-1 product:
-Essential Cream
-Sun Care
-Makeup Base
-Foundation
Oddly I don't see a sunscreen level listed at all. This looks quite pale at first but oxidizes to a dark orange pink which is not very flattering on me.
Can't say more about how this performs as obviously I didn't wear it really.
This was quite cheap from sasa.com (I think around US$12 for 60ml). Dodo Club is a brand I will skip from now on. I tried several items and all were crap.
Thick creamy texture with a slightly sticky feeling and a bit hard to blend.
Has a light fragrance and comes in a simple (and ugly) squeeze-tube.

3: Skin79 Derma RX Beblesh Balm SPF15:

Contains Co-Enzyme Q10 (against free radicals), Arbutin (whitening) and SPF15. The box says it's antimicrobial so it's good to use on acne and irritated skin.
I didn't really test-drive this as again it's too dark for me. Smells slightly medicinal and is probably a good choice for women with a slightly tanner skin-tone.
Contains 43.5g and retails for 35000 Won (it runs usually much cheaper on ebay, skin79's website and Gmarket). I got mine as a part of a set of 3 products for 22000 Won for all 3.
Comes in a simple squeeze-tube.

4: Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm BB Triple Functions SPF25 PA++:

I already reviewed this here and compared it to the golden version.

5: Skin79 Diamond Collection The Prestige Beblesh Balm SPF25 PA++:

I already reviewed this here along with the rest of the Diamond Collection so please click to read more.

6: Skin79 Intense Classic Balm UV SPF20 PA++:

This is a very basic BB cream with a short list of ingredients.
The box claims this is
-UV protecting (SPF20 PA++)
-Calming
-Concealing, creating an even skin tone and texture
-Protects against free radicals and harmful environment
Now this might sound odd but this is my favorite BB Cream from Skin79 and one of my favorites altogether. It's quite thick and offers really good coverage, better than most of the other BB Creams. Furthermore it's one of the palest BB Creams so it's a good color match.
Contains 43.5g and retails for 28000 Won even though it's usually selling for less than half on Gmarket. Mine was a free gift with the purchase of the diamond collection.
Comes in a hygienic simple squeeze-tube and has a pleasant light scent.

7: Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream:

While this has a really pleasant light silky texture and blends really well I have come to the conclusion that this is a bit too dark for me. I can wear it but it's not the best color-match and will be unwearable for me in winter when my skin is even paler.
It's a shame as this is an excellent product otherwise.
You can read more about it here.

8: Banila Co Let Me Finish Multiple BB Cream SPF27 PA++:

I was actually quite sure that this would be too dark as the other items I tried (Mineral Pact and the concealer in the lightest color) are way too dark for me. To my surprise the BB Cream is quite light and a very good color match for me. I chose the version with sunscreen which is more expensive but I just prefer to have the sun screen in the BB cream so I can skip 1 step in the morning.
Comes in a pretty squeeze-tube with pump dispenser and has the typical light Banila Co fragrance added. The texture of this is rather lightweight and the coverage is sheer. Overall a pretty good BB Cream.
The tube contains only 35 ml and retails for 25000 Won which is a lot for the small amount.

9: Innisfree Trouble Care BB Cream SPF 27 PA++:

This is one of the cheapest BB Creams (retail price, not what I paid) I have as it retails for only 10000 Won. Furthermore it comes in one of the prettiest tubes with pump dispenser.
Contains Tea Tree Oil, Lily Extract and some other plant stuff so it smells slightly herbal. I had a sample of this and the color match and soft feeling skin convinced me that I needed the full-size.
I read somewhere that this is not recommended for normal-dry but only for combination-oily skin-types. I don't see why as my skin tolerates the cream very well without any problems and feels moisturized all the time when wearing it.
The coverage it offers is sheer-medium.
Contains 35ml but for 10000 Won that's fair.

10: Hanskin Magic BB Cream:

I just reviewed this yesterday so please click here to read.
I want to add that this is the palest BB Cream of the lot and the best color match beside Missha M Perfect Cover in #21.

All in all I have now a wide variety of BB Creams that match my skin-tone and type. Most are on the thicker side and quite emollient and moisturizing.

My top 5 would be:
-Missha M Perfect Cover #21
-Hanskin Magic BB Cream
-Skin79 Intense Classic Balm UV
-Innisfree Trouble Care BB Cream
-Banila Co Let Me Finish BB Cream
(the next 3 would be the golden and pink ones from Skin79 and the Diamond Prestige BB Cream)

I have tried samples of a few more BB Creams. I want to add that BRTC Jasmin Water BB Cream is a very good pale choice, too, and smells lovely due to the Jasmin added.
I also tried Missha M Vita BB Cream but it was too dark.

All my Lioele stash

To complete today's Lioele posts I thought of posting a pic with all items assembled.

You can see the 2 kits I purchased plus 2 free items I got: a foundation brush and a mini lipgloss mobile phone charm.

Doesn't this look like a cute happy family? =)

Lioele Water Makeup Kit

Along with the New Premium Package I decided to pick up another nice set consisting of 2 Lioele and 2 Hisuri items (which seem to be under the same company).

The Water Makeup Kit contains the following:

-Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream:
This is the same as the one in the New Premium package so please read there.

-Lioele Blooming Shimmer Pearl Base in pink:
This is great stuff! It's a baby pink cream that gives a gorgeous pink pearl glow wherever you want it (face, shoulders etc.). It's actually a waste to use this as a base as it is so pretty it rather should be used on top of makeup

-Hisuri Real Crystal Silky Primer:
Hisuri stands for HIgher SUnshine RIchness. Whatever that should mean it sounds Japanese or so lol. Anyways, Hisuri seems to be a slightly more expensive and a bit more grown-up brand under Lioele. The Primer is a milky gel that smooths out skin really well. I am pretty sure that it contains silicones as it gives this smooth silicone-y finish.

-Hisuri Multi Color Marbling Blusher:
This is actually better quality than the highlighter from the New Premium package as the Hisuri one has more pigment. It's a pretty shimmery peach color with a rather silky and pigmented texture.

This kit retails for around US$36 but I paid just over US$50 which is still a good deal as this is supposed to be worth US$95.

Lioele New Premium Package

When I saw the Lioele New Premium Package I was so excited I had to right away find a source to get my hands on it. I found a seller who CPed it for me and after a short visit to Australia my package arrived today!

You should check out the Lioele website. It's pink Korean goodness! They have cute real photo comic stories even a non-Korean speaker can understand and a lot of helpful pics and videos to demonstrate their products.

Anyway, the package rocks! I have just played a little with the items but so far so good! I love getting kits as they usually contain a good assortment of best-sellers and so it was the perfect opportunity to get into a brand of which I haven't tried anything before.

The items in the kit are:
-Silky Highlighter BB Touch
This is a huge stick with a button to push the Silky Highlighter BB Cream out onto the brush. The brush is a synthetic flat foundation brush. All in all this looks like a freaking oversized Touche Eclat or so.
The Silky Highlighter that comes out is a light slightly shiny beige rather thick cream. I tried it with the brush but honestly preferred to even it out with my fingers. This can be used all over the face or only in the T-zone.

-Beyond The Solution BB Cream
This is a BB Cream that comes in a hygienic squeeze-tube with pump. The tube has a cute white and pink design and the BB cream is light so it's an ok color match for my NW15 skin-tone (I tried it out and still Skin79 and Missha M Perfect Cover are the best color matches). I think it would blend in best for most skin-types from light-medium.
This has a very fine silky texture and gives a dewy finish.

-Marbling Blusher 01
This is a pretty highlighter with a shimmery glow. It's not very pigmented and the powder is very hard but it works as a highlighter. It doesn't have too much of obvious shimmer which is a good thing, too.

-Magic Styling Mascara
I tried this out now and it's a great mascara. The base and mascar work together well to give volume and length. It's a dual-wand mascara with base on the one and black mascara on the other side. The base comes with a regular spiral brush whereas the mascara has a comb applicator (my preferred type of applicators)

-Blooming Tint
This is a pretty raspberry lip tint with medium pigment. Looks quite pretty and the website suggest pairing this with the included gloss

-Blooming Gloss
A light pearl pink gloss. Comes in the usual doe-foot style wand.

-Blooming Liptox
This is a pretty lip plumper that smells like peppermint. It's a pretty iridescent sheer golden coral and has a convenient spatula applicator.
This leaves a tingly feeling on my lips and I am not sure yet if I like that or not.

I haven't really used the items yet so I'll review later on how much I like the individual items.

All items are lightly scented.

I paid around US$64 for my kit (retail is just below US$50) and supposedly the kit has a value of US$137 (approx.) if you calculate the individual item prices.
