Yanagiya Prexceed X Sanrio Little Twin Stars Hair Moisture Essence

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
Today I am reviewing the pretty much cutest hair care item I own =) I don´t know how about you but the Little Twin Stars were some of my most favorite characters when I was a little kid. I liked them much more than Hello Kitty and even My Melody as Kiki & Lala were just too cute! I had all sorts of stationery and other goodies from the Little Twin Stars and I am so happy that Sanrio is finally doing a collaboration with a beauty brand for something that is NOT from Hello Kitty!

Yanagiya is a famous Japanese haircare brand and they did a collaboration with Hello Kitty some time ago. I am generally fond of the Yanagiya hair creams and the Little Twin Stars version was a sure must-get for me!

The tube is really pretty and typically Sanrio. The hair cream is a rich white cream with a slightly oily feel. It has a sweet scent which reminds me of those grape-scented fineliner pens Sanrio used to sell.

The Hair Moisture Essence should be used on either wet or dry hair though on dry hair it could get a bit greasy in my opinion.

Anyway, this stuff makes my hair soft and shiny and nicely fragranced so I definitely will use up my cute tube of hair cream (though I haven´t even used up my Hello Kitty one).

Yanagiya Prexceed x Hello Kitty Tsubaki Hair Moisturizing Essence Super Rich

I thought since I just reviewed the Hello Kitty Collagen Wash from Rosette why not review the other Hello Kitty colaboration product I have?

Yanagiya has this popular Tsubaki hair moisture cream range out...in various levels of richness... I think I have a few here but haven´t tried any of the Tsubaki creams as I have quite a few other treatments open and in need to be used up first.
I recently picked up the Prexceed Hello Kitty Tsubaki Hair Moisturizing Essence which is a Limited Edition...just couldn´t resist the cute kimono kitty!

This comes in a gorgeous shiny red squeeze tube and contains 120g which will last really long (It took me many many months to use up another 120g tube of a Yanagiya hair cream). This Hair Moisturizing Essence is "super rich" which means it´s for damaged and dry hair and only little should be used or you will get greasy locks.

Use on shampooed damp hair, don´t rinse off as it´s a leave-in treatment. Recommended to use at night to enjoy super soft hair in the morning.
Here you can see a hairy kitty using this stuff (she looks stupid with hair!):

This stuff really smells good! Like fresh sweet apples! it´s indeed a rich white cream treatment and gives me really soft and smooth hair so I think it´s nice stuff. The only thing negative I notice is that my hair isn´t as shiny as I like...no idea why that´s so.

Overall a nice hair care cream worth checking out!
I got mine from alphabeautyuk on eBay.

Yanagiya Prexceed Collagen Moisturizing Hair Serum

I tried a few items from Yanagiya Prexceed and so far all seemed good to me. I am very fond of the Apricot Hair Cream I reviewed a short while ago.

This Collagen Moisturizing Hair Serum looked interesting when I spotted it on Sasa and it somehow didn´t look like a hair care item, don´t ask me why but it looks more like a face care cream or so =P I like the pink and silver metallic tube, I think it looks neat!

I got this hair serum shortly ago and tried it out several times before I decided to write my review.
The Prexceed Collagen Moisturizing Hair Serum is a lightweight milky white gel cream with a very light floral scent which is applied to dry or towel dry hair and not rinsed off. It contains collagen, amino acid and keratin.

The first few times I used this I only took a small dollop and smoothed it in my hair and somehow didn´t notice a difference.
Since then I use more of this (about 4-5cm of the cream) and massage it in and my hair becomes so silky soft yet not greasy or heavy. What I like so much about this is that my hair looks tidy and neat with flyaways being tamed.

I am definitely continuing to use this and might even repurchase however I have a few other items incl. some from Prexceed to be tested soon as well.

I got the 100g tube from Sasa for about US$9 and think it´s worth it. This will last for quite some time I guess!

Yanagiya Apricot Oil Hair Cream

The Apricot Oil Hair Cream from Yanagiya is one of those items I´d probably pass by without noticing in a Japanese drugstore as the whole thing is printed in Japanese so I´d have no clue what this stuff is =)

But thanks to Sasa I am the owner of this wonderful stuff and I am glad they have this up for grabs on their site. (Oh I just got my VIP membership there so I am saving 5% on everything from now on yay!)
For US$7.90 you get a large 160g tube which will probably last an eternity given the small amount you need for each application. Very good value for money in my opinion!

The Apricot Oil Hair Cream can be applied to towel-dry or dry hair and (according to Sasa) deeply moisturizes your hair with apricot oil, smooths frizziness and makes it shiny and radiant. It also prevents damage from blow-drying. This is also supposed to have a non-greasy texture. This is a leave-in treatment so it doesn´t require to be rinsed off.

I totally agree with Sasa as this stuff really makes my hair super soft and shiny and just makes it so pleasant to touch it.
The cream has definitely an oily texture so Sasa is not right in that point. So one must take very little as otherwise hair can get greasy. I use about 2cm and spread it evenly, especially on the lower 2/3 of my hair.

The Apricot Oil Hair Cream has a very light yummy apricot scent (but really light, barely detectable).

I highly recommend this stuff if you have dry, damaged and/or frizzy hair!
