Jadilla J The Original BB SPF30 PA++

I actually reviewed the Jadilla J The Original BB SPF30 PA++ BB Cream here.


However I just had the sample tube only but have ordered the full size since I found it in Vovcare's Gmarket shop.


I just wanted to show you pics of the tube as it's quite remarkable. The tube has an attached sponge onto which you squeeze out the BB Cream. Honestly the tube is a bit hard to squeeze so I bet when I am getting low on the BB Cream it will be a bit hard to get it out.

The sponge is rather hard but it works really well when I pat the BB Cream on rather than rubbing or swiping.
However it takes about 2-3x the amount of BB Cream I usually use to get the desired coverage so it's not the best solution for application in my opinion.


I squeeze a bit BB Cream on the back of my hand and dip the sponge in it as I find this way it works best.

I purchased color #1 which is a good match for me.
I paid 27000 Won and also received a pair of super soft and cuddly socks to wear in bed or when I'm lazying with a book on the sofa or watching TV. They're really stretchy and warm so they're very comfortable to wear.

Jadilla J My Ball Blusher in #2 and Pearlfect #2

I think I am quite stocked with Jadilla J now but I couldn't resist picking up another My Ball blush and try one of their Pearlfect highlighters when they were 50% off. I really love the 2 blushes I got before (#1 and 3) as they're silky and offer nice pigment (I prefer sheer-medium like this) along with beautiful flattering colors.

The blushes normally cost 22000 in vovcare's Gmarket shop. I am not sure if that is supposed to be the real retail price as it seems a bit high to me. However I purchased mine for 11000 Won which is a steal (that's less than US$10).
It wasn't advertised that this was supposed to come with free gifts but as always the seller was very generous and added couple of microfiber towels, 2 Jadilla lip tints, 2 sample sachet packets, 2 concealers, 1 Powder Pact refill in Light+++ (purple) and a cream eyeshadow for free. I also ordered a tube of VOV Anti-Trouble BB Cream for 6900 Won in color #21 and qualified for all those freebies.

-My Ball Cubical Face blusher:


I already reviewed #1 and #3. These are silky sheer-medium pigmented blushes with a very fine shimmery, almost glowy finish.
I am happy I picked up #2 finally as it's a drop-dead gorgeous peachy pink similar to the famous NARS Orgasm blush.


The pigment is fine in this color and the shade is neutral enough to wear with cool or warm skin-tones so it's pretty much universally flattering.


It comes in the most gorgeous little compact with a soft brush included.
I paid 11000 Won

-Pearlfect Cubical Face highlighter:


This comes in the same cute compact as the blushes. It's available in 2 colors: #1 (white/silver) and #2 (lavender/pale lavender white).
I chose #2 as it looked more interesting and I own plenty of white highlighters.


The Pearlfect is sheer with a matte and a shimmery side. The matte side is a pale lavender whereas the shimmery side is a pale lavender white with lavender glitter flecks.
The first time I used this the blue glitter flecks were to obvious for my taste but the 2nd time it was more subtle. However I made sure to swirl my brush more to the matte side to pick up less glitters.


At this point I cannot tell really if the glitters go through the whole powder but I believe it's so.
All in all not my favorite highlighter. I prefer the dewy sort of glow baked highlighter give.
I paid 11000 Won.

Vovcare doesn't have these listed right now but he seems to sell out an restock his items regularly so I'd just keep an eye open. Most Jadilla J items seem to sell out in a matter of days so I'd check back regularly if you're interested to buy anything there.

BB Creams: Quick comparison V

Since my last quick comparison post I accumulated another stash of BB Creams =) I am totally addicted to BB Creams... I think it's the ease of using them and the pretty finish they give.
I was always first drawn towards eyeshadow palettes but nowadays the first thing I like to check out in a brand totally new to me is a BB Cream =X


Anyways, I have accumulated another 8 new BB Creams so it's about time to post short reviews and swatches.


1: Lioele Water Drop BB Lioele Aqua Makeup SPF27 PA++:


I have already reviewed this here.
It's very lightweight and sheer but gives a very moisturized soft feeling to my skin. However even though it's sheer the color is too dark for me.
I got this in the kit for 29000 Won (the kit also included a lipgloss, blusher and 5 sheet masks)
The cream is only lightly scented.
Squeeze-tube contains 50ml

2: Clio Whitening BB Cream SPF17:


I found this on Gmarket by coincidence. It was supposed to come with a free mini lipgloss trio and a powder but the seller (the one listed in my Gmarket sellers list who carries Banila Co) seems o have forgotten my gift =(
The BB Cream has the typical thicker texture and offers sheer-medium coverage. However the color is too dark for me (though it looks light and applies light but oxidises after short time) and the scent of the BB Cream is a bit strong. It's nothing special.
I paid 27000 Won for this 60ml tube

3: Banila Co Let Me Finish Prime BB Cream SPF 27 PA++:


I have reviewed the other Let Me Finish Multiple BB Cream SPF27 PA++ here.
The Prime BB Cream offers a higher sunscreen than the Multiple one but otherwise I honestly can't tell much of a difference away from the color.
The Prime BB Cream has a slightly lighter texture than most other BB Creams and offers sheer-medium coverage. The color match is ok for my skin-tone though it's on the darker side of the spectrum whereas the Multiple BB Cream is quite pale and pink-toned.
The pump-dispenser squeeze tube is a nice and hygienic way of packaging.
I paid 20000 Won for my 35ml tube and received a free Aqua Gloss, some samples and a box of cottons as extras.

4: Rita Rove W So Lightsome BB Cream for all skin types:


I already reviewed this here.
This is a great basic BB Cream with sheer-medium coverage and the typical light grayish pink color and thicker waxy texture that most BB Creams come in.
I can't detect a scent.
This came as free gift with the purchase of 2 W So Lightsome powders. Contains 50ml.

5: Etude House Speedy Total Base SPF35 PA++ 3 in 1:


This is not labeled as a BB Cream but I see it listed on eBay as a BB Cream and the concept of having your makeup base, foundation and sunscreen in 1 product is typical for BB Creams.
The cream comes in a cute pink squeeze-tube and comes in 2 colors. The lighter color of the two is #2 which is unusual. I guess they first only sold it in color #1 and decided to release a lighter-toned one later so it ended up being #2. Anyway, the cream is really pale and doesn't have the typical gray undertone, rather a peachy tone to it.
It blends in nicely with my natural skin color but offers only sheer coverage. The texture is also lighter than the typical BB Cream.
It's a good choice if you have little to cover and prefer a BB Cream without gray tones.
It carries a slightly strong floral perfume.
The tube contains 50ml and costs only 9500 Won.

6: Jadilla J Skinguard BB Plus:


As I noted in one of my earlier Jadilla J posts this was the BB Cream I initially wanted to get instead of the Whitening BB Plus but it looked dark in the pic so I skipped it. Well, curiosity won and I ended up ordering it (it came with a lip tint, mini powder compact and BB Cream deluxe sample tube).


The Skinguard BB Plus comes in an iridescent pale pink tube which looks very cute and princessy.
However, the color is too dark as I had expected. I think this would work very well if you're naturally lightly tan or about a NC25-30 in MAC.
Is lightly scented (a fresh pleasant perfume) and contais 50ml.
I paid 23000 or so for my tube incl. the gifts included.

7: Tony Moly BB Expert Triple Blemish Balm Cream SPF 45 PA+++:


I believe this is the BB Cream with the strongest sunscreen (Missha Perfect Cover is very good, too).
I quite like this BB Cream as it is a good color match and offers medium coverage. It has the typical thick texture and grayish undertones I am used to from most BB Creams.
Tony Moly Expert BB Cream has a light pleasant scent and applies very smoothly.
The tube contains 50ml.
I believe I paid about 15000 Won for my tube.

8: Tony Moly Secret BB Cream Brighter:


This comes in the most adorable box and tube. Very vintage and cute! I really love it!
The cream comes in the colors "Brighter" and "Natural". I decided to go for the lighter version and I am really pleased with it.
This is the perfect choice if you can't pull off the gray tones in most pale BB Creams. The Secret BB Cream sports a more peachy color but manages not to look orange on me but really brightens up my complexion.
It offers only sheer coverage despite its thick texture but with a tiny bit of foundation, concealer and powder the result is perfect.
Carries a light scent and makes my skin feel super soft.
This is quite cheap at about 9800 Won for 50ml.

Small Jadilla J haul

vMy friend Betsy emailed me a couple of weeks back sending me the link to a Jadilla J kit on Gmarket for only 27200 Won for 3 full-sized products I just couldn't pass up =)


I purchased my Jadilla J items only from seller vovcare so far as it was the only seller I was able to locate and the prices were higher but therefore everything came with truckloads of free stuff so they were good deals nonetheless. Right now there is a sale going on so you get all the Jadilla J stuff either 50% off or 1+1 free (like the mascara and liner for the price of 1 item only) so you can score pretty nice deals from vovcare (therefore no or very little amount of freebies included)


Anyways, the kit comes with your choice of Whitening BB Plus (2 colors), Light On Pact (3 color choices) and a Lipgloss (7 colors to choose from).
I got a backup of the Whitening BB Plus in #1 (Light), the Light On Pact in Light++ and the Lipgloss in #6.


The Light On Pact in Light++ works suprisingly well with my skin-tone. I have several sample sized versions of this and I swear they look more yellow than the full-size. So now I have 2 Light On Pacts both suitable for my skin-tone (the other one is the light purple one in this post where you can also read about the BB Cream).


The Lipgloss is very pretty! It's a medium plummy pink with fine glitters. The color is sheer-medium pigmented and shows up as a pretty cool pink with a very glossy finish. Really lovely! You can read more about texture/scent here where I reviewed the other Lipgloss I purchased recently.


This kit is a very nice way to try 3 items from Jadilla J for a good price. The item# is 152714696 on Gmarket.

I have gotten another 5 BB Creams since my last post couple of weeks ago so here I am presenting you swatches and reviews (but will link you to other posts I already reviewed some BB creams in).


1: Oriks Oriental Herb BB Cream:


I already reviewed this here.
Very pale sheer BB Cream but oxidizes a bit after short time. Has a pleasant light herbal smell and feels smooth and lightweight upon application.
50ml, came as part of a kit which cost me 39800 Won for 5 items.
Comes in a standard squeeze-tube.

2: Mamonde Natural Cover Lotion:


I already reviewed this here.
It's not called BB Cream but it's a 4-in-1 according to the box and contains SC Glucan, Ivy Extracts, Marshmallow Extracts and Fleur Hydra Complex. Also the texture/color is typical for BB Creams.
Has a floral scent and comes in a light pink-toned color (I purchased color 01, there is also a darker 02 available).
Offers sheer-medium coverage.
50ml (in simple squeeze-tube) cost me 16000 Won (about US$15)

3: VOV Castledew Whitening BB Repair Balm SPF15:


This is a pretty good BB Cream with light-medium coverage. Comes in 2 colors of which I chose the lighter one #01. Has a very pleasant fragrance, fruity and floral at the same time. The tube, color and consistency of the BB Cream reminds me very much of its sister brand Jadilla J Whitening BB Cream which is just a tad darker in color #01.
This gives me very smooth skin and lasts very well.
The BB Cream is rather thick and has a very light waxy feel I personally like in this formula.
Contains (among other ingreds) Jojoba Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Chamomile Extract and Arbutin.
50ml (in squeeze-tube) cost me 11200 Won (about US$10). The cream came with a free full-sized 100ml tube of Frigga Hand Cream and a pack of VOV Good-Bye Eye Pender cotton pads (those are really awesome!). This makes the BB Cream a really good deal.


4: VOV Anti Trouble Blemish Balm SPF17:


I only added this to show you the swatch of it as it's too dark for me (It looks fine on the pic but my hand is about 2 shades darker than my face). This has a herbal scent and a smooth texture.
I didn't actually purchase this, I got 4 full-sized 50ml tubes in color #23 as gifts.
Comes in a basic medicinal-looking squeeze tube

5: Jadilla J The Original BB SPF30 PA++:


I haven't seen the full-size of this on Gmarket. I received a deluxe GWP size as part of a gift-set.
The Original BB has a quite strong herbal scent but I really like it. The texture is typical for BB Creams, a thicker cream with sheer-medium coverage. The color works very well with my natural skin-tone and my skin feels super soft and smooth.

All in all another bunch that contains some pretty nice BB Creams.

Jadilla J and VOV Good-Bye Eye Pender No Remover Mascara Haul haul

My most recent Gmarket order contained 6 items from seller vovcare from Jadilla J and a Good-Bye Eye Pender No Remover Mascara. I ordered 6 items and paid about €65 (about US$90).


When I opened the package I almost fell from my chair as I found around 25 freebies in my package! Many of them even full-sized! Amazing I tell you! It seems all of the items this seller has listed come with a nice GWP (you see it pictured along with your item) but they threw in around 13 extra gifts on top.

After being really pleased with the blusher in 03 I decided to order the light pink one #01. I am glad I did as now the seller doesn't have this listed anymore! The compact is so pretty and the blusher has a soft shimmer and a silky texture.


#01 is a soft light pink that works very well with my fair complexion.

-Jadilla J Plumping Mascara:


The tube of this is so so pretty! I don't own many posh looking mascaras and this is probably the prettiest tube I own.


The formula is great, it gives great volume and length and holds my curl (that's all I want a good mascara to do!). However it can clump my lashes up a bit so I need to use my eyelash curler quickly after application not to end up with 5 spikey lashes.
This cost 18000 but came with the Eyepen Technic Liner (Get 2 for the price of 1)

-Jadilla J Eyepen Technic Liner:


This is one of the most fantastic liquid eyeliners I ever tried. It's just like Kate Supersharp so it draws a super fine absolutely even line. It stays on without any smudging or fading. I really love this! What makes this stand out from Kate is the pretty packaging! Very princessy and glam for an eyeliner! I will definitely buy more of these.


I ordered VOV's Castledew version of this which looks similar. I wonder if it'll be the same.
The ink is black and looks like a soft black to me.

-Jadilla J The Original Pact SPF 25 PA++:


This looks very different from Jadilla J's other products. It comes in a black square compact that's rather simple and not princessy at all. On the contrary this shows witches, cats, stars, trees and other magic symbols printed on in white color. I really like it! =D


I chose the lighter powder color and it's indeed a good pale color suitable for my skin-tone. The powder however offers only very light coverage and doesn't get cakey or messy at all. My skin doesn't feel tight or dried-out and the finish is pretty matte skin. It's a good powder in my opinion and performs nicely. A little bit extra coverage would have been nice though.


This is scented with the typical granny-perfume most VOV powders are scented with. It faded pretty quickly though thankfully.
I received a Special Kit with this containing a mini purse-sized version of the powder in a pretty mirrored white compact with white symbols, a mini The Original BB Cream and a mini VOV Castledew Setting Mascara.


I paid 24000 Won.

-Jadilla J Lipgloss:


This comes in the typical princessy Jadilla J tube I really heart. The lipgloss formula is pretty much the same like VOV Castledew's Over Setting Glosses so it's a slick moisturizing formula with a good lastability. It also carries that same fruity scent and comes with that wide fuzzy-applicator with a hole in the middle.
The color I got is #05 which is a pretty sheer-medium red pink with blue shimmers (they don't really show on my lips though). It's really pretty!


I paid 18000 Won for this (it came with a bunch of freebies)

-VOV Good-Bye Eye Pender No Remover Mascara:


According to VOV this mascara removes easily with warm water but is smudge-resistent. What I noticed first is that the packaging of this looks like that mascara from Beaute de Kose. Most VOV (esp. Castledew and Jailla J) items come in packaging similar to various Japanese brands (probably they use the same supplier? hehe). The brush of the No Remover Mascara is curved and deposits the right amount of mascara. It's a volumizing formula and really gives me beautiful black lashes.


It doesn't remove with water (maybe I should try hotter water?) but with a bit of cleansing oil it removes almost completely. The mascara comes off in small strips/balls so gently wiping the lashes with my fingers helps removing it.


As you can see I am happy with all items. I seem to be quite lucky with the stuff I purchase these days =) (though I will have to rant about a certain eyeshadow palette form VOV soon)
