Naris Up Frogtime Sun Protect Milk SPF50+ PA+++

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
Someone asked me to write about the sunscreen I am using this summer so I will review the Frogtime Sun Protect Milk SPF50+ PA+++ from Naris Up.

Frogtime seems to be a mini skincare series from Naris Up and I purchased 2 products, the other one being the hand cream (great stuff, should review soon, too).

The Frogtime Sun Protect Milk comes in a cute and cheery orange bottle with a cute frog character printed on the front.

This is a strong sunscreen offering a protection of SPF 50+ and PA+++ for "daily use and leisure" hehe.
I am not sure if this product is supposed to be scented with orange (as there are oranges printed on) but to me it´s absolutely odorless.

This is a lightweight quite liquid milk which absorbs really quickly and leaves soft but in no way greasy skin so it´s a really comfortable sun protection milk to use on the face (and/or body but the small bottle will be empty quickly).

The 30ml should be shaken prior to each use and I don´t know the retail price as it doesn´t seem to be printed on the package but I purchased it for less than US$10 from ebay seller alphabeautyuk.

Overall great stuff and affordable (if you use it for your face, a bit uneconomical for body use)

Naris Up Perfect Lip Wrapping Lip Care Essence

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
I found this cute new product called Perfect Lip Wrapping by Naris Up in Hong Kong (Sasa) so I picked up one as it really looked sweet with that pearly pink tube and that little duck on the package! Price was HK$55 which was quite right with me, too!

The Perfect Lip Wrapping Lip Care Essence comes in a cute pink squeeze tube with a slanted plastic applicator and a pearly white cap.

There are 10g in the tube which is quite a good amount for a lipcare.
The lip care has a thick slick texture without much stickiness and gives a very glossy finish. It´s not scented or flavored which is a plus for me =)

This is really comfortable to wear as it instantly soothes any dryness or taut feeling and leaves a nice moisturinzing layer on the lips.

Overall for me this is a perfect lipcare as I prefer the glossy and long-lasting kind like this over the typical waxy or greasy kind which usually vanishes after a few minutes.

Definitely recommended stuff so I got 2 more tubes from HK as backups =D I saw these on eBay in Alphabeautyuk´s store, too. Not sure about Adambeauty but I think I didn´t see it in his shop.

DIY Skin Care: Sheet Masks (Naris Up Skin Conditioner HA Lotion & Kanebo Sure Up sheet mask tablets)

I know a daily sheet mask is something wonderful but on the long run a quite expensive and uneconomic thing since they usually come wrapped in single sachets. I like either buying boxes containing say 20 or 30 sheet masks or actually do them myself as it´s fun and the lotion can be varied. They are not replacing my favorite masks from Simply Sexy Look but they make a great substitute for some days of the week so I can enjoy the benefits of a lotion mask several times a week instead of my usual 2-3x.

I think the most known Japanese brand advertising dry pressed sheet mask tablets to use with their lotion is Kosé Sekkisei. But other brands sell them now and you can use any skin toner (aka lotion in Japanese beauty terms) to enjoy its benefits for longer than just swiping it on with a cotton pad.
The cheapest sheet mask tablets I found so far online are from Kanebo Sure Up which cost US$4.50 for a pack of 15 pieces shipped from Adambeauty. there might be cheaper ones if you do a thorough search but that is already pretty good I think.
I got one pack and I also picked up a bottle of Naris Up Skin Conditioner HA lotion with Hyaluronic Acid quite some time before to use for the masks from Sasa. The 360ml bottle cost me around US$5.50. It´s specifically meant to be used as a face treatment with cotton pads but I like the sheet mask tablets more =)
To make a mask just drip the lotion onto a tablet until it´s saturated and unfold the mask. The unfolding is a bit tricky as the sheet is really densely pressed and it´s made of a very thin soft material which can tear apart easily. The cut of these masks is really nice so they are really nice and feel very light on the skin. If you prefer very soft and thick masks this is not for you I guess =)
The Skin Conditioner is excellent in my opinion. It is rather liquid but with a nice slippery feeling and after using this for about 5-10 minutes my skin looks really clear and bright and well moisturized. The lotion is a bit sticky when it dries so I prefer using a moisturizer to reduce the stickiness or wash the residues off.
Doesn´t irritate my skin and is not fragranced at all so it´s great stuff.

To create one mask I need less than 10ml of the lotion so the bottle will last for many sheet masks. If I did the maths correctly one sheet mask costs about US$0.40 if I calculate getting 3 packs of Kanebo masks (=45 pieces) with 1 bottle of Naris Up Skin Conditioner (which comes in more versions, not only the one with HA). That´s quite a good rate I think. Surely if you get 100 sheet masks from Gmarket from Purederm or another cheap brand it might probably cost you less but I still think the mask tablets and lotion are a good thing and convenient.

Naris Up Uruoi-Ya Super Collagen BB Moist Cream SPF 30 PA++

So I am presenting you another Japanese BB Cream. More and more brands release their own version of this much coveted product.

Naris Up is a smaller but definitely good Japanese brand. I think they are mostly known for their acne skin care but their Uruoi-Ya line is also somewhat popular.

The new Uruoi-Ya Super Collagen BB Moist Cream SPF30 PA++ comes in a cute packaging but a very simple and boring squeeze-tube. Seems they didn´t really invest in product designing which is a pity in my opinion :P

This BB Cream´s benefits are:
-Essence
-Cream
-UV protection (UVB-SPF of 30 and UVA-PA of ++)
-Makeup Base
-Foundation (covers spots, pores, skin problems)... neutral skin color to fit a varitey of skin-tones
-Contains orange essence oil, hyaluronic acid, royal jelly and collagen.

The 25g tube will set you back 1050 Yen when you purchase it in Japan. I picked it up on eBay for US$9.45 plus shipping (it´s currently sold out on eBay). Adambeauty lists this for US$10.50 incl. shipping (add US$2/order no matter how many products you order for registered shipping).

To me it seems that nowadays any brand can just throw some color in their face cream and call it BB Cream to hype the product up.
To me the Naris Up Super Collagen BB Moist Cream falls more into the tinted moisturizer category. It´s super sheer but also very light and comfortable to wear. Seems the general consensus among Japanese brands seems to be to produce lightweight BB Creams which makes them quite different from the original Korean versions.

The color looks a little dark at first but it´s so sheer that it works quite well even though I like to slap on a good amount of this stuff. It evens out my skin a little but not as well as say Meishoku Moist Labo or Kiss Me Sunkiller.

This is however an excellent moisturizer as it makes my skin silky smooth but not sticky or heavy at all.

This product is not scented and comes in 1 shade only.
All in all this is a nice product and well worth purchasing if you like a lightweight sheer tinted moisturizer. Best probably for normal-dry skin-types and most skin-tones from light-medium since it has such little amount of color.

My favorite Japanese BB Creams are still Meishoku Moist Labo Natural and Kiss Me Sunkiller BB.
