Cosmetex Roland Magical Shot Lip Treatment Serum - Lip Gloss & Treatment

This was another purchase from Sasa recently. You might remember that I quite like this obscure Japanese brand Cosmetex Roland so I am picking up whatever pops up on Sasa (and as long as it´s suitable for my skin-type and useful for me)

The Magical Shot Lip Treatment Serum Lip Gloss & Treatment comes in a shiny pink metallic box with big fat lips and lots of stuff printed on =) As I said before I think their packaging is kinda cute, a little messy and not really designed to look refined but still nice! =P

The Lip Treatment Serum itself comes in a simple white and pink squeeze-tube with a slanted applicator.
I didn´t put this in my "Inexpensive Beauty Finds" category as this wasn´t that cheap honestly. Nearly US$10 for 1 tube isn´t little in my opinion. Still you get a generous size (a whopping 12g!) and the price is right.

This is a gloss and lipcare in 1 item and I really love this stuff! It´s a slick gloss which is not overly sticky and it makes my lips soft and gives a pretty glossy finish. It´s clear and doesn´t have any scent or taste. The lasting power is good, about 1-2 hours at least.
While you might think this is a plumping gloss (aka tingly or cooling sensation) this is just a glossy lipbalm, no menthol or camphor or other stuff like that added.

Overall this is a great little item to use, I like wearing this when I only slap on BB Cream and nothing else. My lips look healthy and glossy and I am good to go!

Inexpensive Beauty Find: Cosmetex Roland Q10 Treatment Care Cream for Eyes/Q10 Eye Treatment Serum

And again Cosmetex Roland, this nice but small Japanese brand, has made it into my Inexpensive Beauty Finds category.
So far everything I tried from them is really good and also great value for money as their price point is just really low.
I hope eventually Sasa will list more of their products but right now you can get about 25 or so items there which is a good start.

I purchased this product with the inconsistent name (the name on the box is different from the tube) back in December 2009 but just started using it in January as I was waiting for my Kose Sekkisei eye cream to finish. I still have the Etude House Moistfull Eye Cream around but just prefer using the Cosmetex one.

So on the box it says "Q10 Treatment Care Cream for Eyes" and on the tube "Eye Treatment Serum Q10".

The box is golden and somehow overloaded with pics and writings lol whereas the tube is super simple with nearly nothing written on it =P This is somehow what makes me realize that this brand is still small and probably doesn´t spend too much on expensive packaging designing =P

Anyways, I don´t mind, to me that´s kinda cute! And the cream itself has convinced me of the quality (and it cost me less than US$9 for a hefty 20g tube) so I already repurchased the same cream as a backup and ordered one of the other 2 available eye creams from Cosmetex.

The tube is just white with an eye and "Eye Treatment Serum Q10" written on it. On the back is some Japanese scribble, too.

The cream itself has a buttery yellow color and smooth but very moisturizing formula. It´s a lighter cream so if you have severly dry skin you might want something richer but for me this is the perfect amount of hydration and care for my (not yet wrinkly *knocks on wood*) eye area.
Makes a great smooth base for eye makeup, too!

Overall a really nice eye cream and the 20g tube will probably last me around 3-4 months (I need about 5-6ml eye cream per month, with 2x daily application)

This is not scented and doen´t irritate my eyes at all. Overall very recommended as it´s doing its job wonderfully!

Inexpensive Beauty Find: Cosmetex Roland Hair Repairment Repair Esthe S-Care Treatment

I am so into trying all kinds of Japanese hair care and styling products these days. In my opinion the majority is just great so to me it´s so worth shipping the stuff over here.

As I probably mentioned 100000x before the best place to order heavy items like skincare, bodycare, hair stuff etc. is Sasa.com as over a certain limit shipping is free so you don´t need to worry that your package might end up weighing 2,3 or 5kg or more as they cover the shipping for you anyway. So I shamelessly order lots of heavy bottles and stuff hehe =D Sasa´s assortment has increased tremendously over the past couple of years so you really get the good stuff there now (except for their makeup variety which is rather poor). Their prices can´t be beat as the majority of the things cost around or even less than Japanese retail (up to 50% less in my experience!) so even if you order a lot it won´t break your bank too easily.

I received the Hair Repairment Repair Esthe S-Care Treatment from Japanese brand Cosmetex Roland along with my most recent order and despite the pile of hair treatments in my bathroom I just couldn´t put this in my backup stash (to use when I finish something else) as I was just too curious if this stuff would be good.

This comes in a huge 300g tube (I actually didn´t pay attention to the size so I was surprised by the big tube!). I don´t know the retail price in Japan but this set me back US$7.30 or US$7.40 (I get 5% VIP discount. Including import taxes (there are no customs fees on cosmetics here) the tube cost me less than US$10 (shipping was free) as I ordered this with quite a bunch of other stuff to make it more worthwhile.

There are 2 Repair Esthe Treatments available: D-Care (for very dry and damaged hair) and S-Care (for "habit hair"?). I got S-Care as Sasa doesn´t have D-Care.

The Repair Esthe S-Care Treatment contains Lipidure to supply hair with intense moisture and to make it soft and smooth and give a beautiful shine to it.

I tried this out several times and I have to say that this stuff absolutely rocks! My hair feels soooo soft, smooth and shiny I can´t stop touching it!
This has a light scent which is not heavy and quite nice.

This is a regular hair treatment so you shampoo your hair, squeeze out as much water as possible and apply a dollop of the hair pack. Leave for 2-3 minutes and then rinse off. Follow with conditioner or leave as is.

I will repurchase this as I really think this stuff is great! I would also love to try the D-Care Treatment or one of the shampoos from Cosmetex Roland.

Inexpensive Beauty Find: Cosmetex Roland Moisture Skin Care Cream

I am always on the hunt for nice affordable Japanese products and when browsing my various favorite online shops I usually stumble across little treasures from time to time.

Cosmetex Roland is a smaller Japanese brand but they do have a nice variety of stuff and a website where you can read about the company and the products in English, yay! (Click here).
You can get quite a variety of Cosmetex Roland items on Sasa (where I bought this cool face serum with real gold flecks in it for like US$14?) but Adambeauty carries 3 of the Moisture Skin Care Creams, too, so I ordered one (so far). You can get the Moisture Skin Care Creams on Sasa, too (where they cost only US$4.50 plus shipping but since shipping is high unless I order really a lot from Sasa I opted for Adambeauty instead).
Sasa´s variety is here! Whenever I place my next big order with them I will include some more Cosmetex stuff for sure as then it will be really worthwhile.

Anyway, enough blabla, the whole pot of Moisture Skin Care Cream still only set me back US$9.50 which includes shipping for this hefty 220g jar. Not bad in my opinion!

There are 3 or 4 variations of this cream available. I was pondering between Urea and Coenzyme Q10 but finally settled on Q10 as for some reason everything with Q10 is downright attractive for me =)

The Moisture Skin Care Cream comes in a huge yellow tub with a flip-top cover. More practical than a normal screw-on cover but a normal squeeze tube is more convenient and hygienic in my opinion. However there is something lush to dig my hands into a big pot of body lotion and slather it on lol (whereas for my face creams I always use a spatula!)!

The cream is quite rich but not sticky or greasy and absorbs really quickly. I really like it because this way I can apply the cream allover my body and then get dressed quite quickly. My skin becomes super soft and supple and the effect is quite long-lasting.
This cream is not scented but it has this no-scent smell (a little chemical). When it comes to face care I prefer unscented stuff but I generally like if my bodycare smells nice. Anyway, the cream is great and won´t clash with any perfume you might want to wear.

You can apply this on your face (yes, face!), body, hands and feet (well, they´re part of your body anyway haha). Especially for my hands this stuff is really nice! They´re quite dry despite constant moisturization and the Q10 Moisture Skin Care Cream really helps in that department!
I would say anyone with normal-dry skin would enjoy using this. If you have severely dry skin or very oily skin I am not sure how the cream would work with your skin-type.

I also got the Q10 Eye Treatment Cream from Cosmetex which I will review soon, too.

The other types Adam and Sasa carry are Urea and Aloe. I will most definitely pick up a pot of Urea soon.
