Summer 2011: Integrate Mineral Watery Foundation SPF23 PA++ OC-00

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!

Integrate added a new liquid foundation to their Mineral line and to my delight they had the color OC-00 which is usually a pretty light color suitable for fair skin like mine.
The new Mineral Watery Foundation comes in a very small plastic squeeze bottle with a slim nozzle. The packaging is simple but quite hygienic and easy to tote around.

The texture is a very liquid cream which offers sheer-medium coverage. It applies nicely and gives super smooth, moisturized and soft skin but doesn´t feel heavy or greasy. I can´t comment on oil-control since I have dry skin.
The result is not shimmery nor dewy but not flat matte on me either.
The Mineral Watery Foundation is unscented and doesn´t irritate my skin at all.

Unfortunately it is quite yellow and very dark so even though the color code suggested otherwise I can´t wear it as my skin is lighter and more pink.

This would get a good rating (4/5) as it´s a really nice product but the color match is off so a personal and individually sensed
Rating of 1/5

I got mine from Adambeauty for somewhere around US$20.

Fall 2010: Shiseido Integrate Rainbow Grade Eyes GY905

I purchased and reviewed couple of the new Rainbow Grade Eyes fall eyeshadow palettes from Integrate some time ago but recently purchased another color as I really like this range.

You can read my reviews on BR701 and VI708 here!

GY905 looked like a perfect black/gray/silver smokey eye palette. Since the texture of both other palettes was excellent I didn´t imagine that this certain color would be a total dud!

For some weird reason this palette doesn´t have the same silky and blendable texture as the other colors but is rather dull, hard to blend, crumbly and applies really blotchy. The darkest color is much too light to make a decent smokey eye whereas the cream shade, the rainbow powder and the light silver shade look nearly identical. The medium silver and darkest shade also show nearly no contrast.

Really a pity as I expected this to be much nicer. I am pretty shocked how inconsistent the quality is among this range of eyeshadow palettes! Brands like Kate or Lavshuca offer much better smokey eye palettes for the same price btw!
I layered each color about 2-3 times for the swatch below btw... The color pay-off is seriously bad!

Xmas 2010: Shiseido Integrate Crayon Eyes & True Shiny Gloss

While Integrate used to release those (for me) useless glitter cream/gloss palettes in the previous years for Xmas they decided to add a few new products to the current lineup.
There is one limited shade of their new Rainbow Grade Eyes but the warm yellow golds didn´t appeal to me. I picked up 2 of the new Crayon Eyes and 2 of the True Shiny Gloss lipglosses as my share of this year´s holiday collection from Integrate.

If you want to see all new products incl. color variations please check this post on Rouge Deluxe!

The older eye crayons from Integrate in pencil form were really popular when the brand was launched several years ago. I have some of these and quite like them for their pretty colors, nice pearly finish and good lasting power.
The new Crayon Eyes comes in automatic pencil refills and a holder which can take either 1 or 2 colors.

I got the holder and 2 refills to test this product out. I chose a deep and a lighter color but somehow the colors I got are mismatched so I won´t use them together =X

The overall design of the holder (and of the lipglosses I will review below) is a continuation of the Fall 2010 packaging which I personally like a lot.

Anyway, the texture of these crayons is creamy but not greasy and they glide on and spread easily. Both of the colors I got are pearly but with a little shimmer but they are not glittery.

Lasting power is good, the colors do fade and crease a little but for being creamy products they last quite well on me.

I actually like these better as a base than on their own, especially the lighter color.

BE315 looks more golden/yellow than on the swatch where it seemed to be a perfectly neutral pearly slightly pinkish cream shade. This makes a good base for neutral eyeshadow colors like browns but is a bit too yellow to be used as a highlighter (for me at least).

VI611 is a pretty plum shade with good color pay-off.

Overall a solid product but not really impressive. There are 9 shades available.
Rating 3/5

The True Shiny Gloss lipglosses come in pretty tubes and are available in an array of 7 very neutral/light and natural shades (full-sized 7g each). There is no crazy bright or deep shade. I´d not have minded a deep cranberry but ok, I like the neutrals anyway =P

These new lipglossses have a creamy smooth texture with a soft glossy and slightly shimmery finish. They are quite pigmented for glosses so the colors show up well. Actually the formula reminds me more of a liquid lipstick or lip cream.

The slightly curved fuzzy spatula applicator applies the perfect amount, actually it´s one of the best applicators I have encountered till now.

Lasting power is quite decent, about 2 hours and the gloss won´t gunk up or accumulate on the outer corner of my lips.

The overall texture reminds me VERY much of the Perfect Gloss from Maquillage. The formula must be almost identical which means I love the new True Shiny Glosses!

Of course these are unscented but they do carry a slight plastic note, just like the ones from Maquillage. It´s not bothersome but might be detectable for more sensitive noses like mine =P

RD113: A light milky nude pinky peach shade

RS731: A beautiful mauve pink, very much a MLBB color

These glosses are fantastic and a great cheaper alternative to the Perfect Gloss lipcolors from Integrate´s bigger sister brand Maquillage.

Fall 2010: Shiseido Integrate Rainbow Grade Eyes VI708

As I posted below I picked up another color of the Integrate Rainbow Grade Eyes from Apopofkawaii.com as I am very happy with my palette in BR701.
I decided on the palette in VI708 as it looked like a gorgeous smokey purple color set fitting for me. I know I am boring, I usually purchase taupes, grays and purples =P

To me this palette feels a bit sheerer than the other color but the color is buildable without clumping up and I love the pretty soft finely milled shimmer and good blending quality of the shadows.

The shade at the top left is a cream base (very dry, pearl finish, doesn´t crease on me) whereas the shade below it is a glitter shade to pat on top of the other 3 graduated colors.

I won´t go into details regarding the compact etc. but the Rainbow Grade Eyes are really cute and one of my favorite range of palettes currently =)

VI708 is exactly what I wanted, a soft set of cool dusty purples. Good for a soft smokey eye but not suitable for anyone searching for very pigmented shades =)

EOTD:
first pic is before applying mascara because it shows the colors so well, 2nd with Canmake Gokunobi (lengthening mascara). Liner is from Koji 1 day Long Lasting in Natural Black (a gray shade)..love this, to be reviewed eventually!

Off topic but I liked my NOTD yesterday. Some random nail polishes from DHC, Majolica Majorca and Elizabeth Pink Bonbon. =D

Fall 2010: Shiseido Integrate Rainbow Grade Eyes, Diamond Star Rouge & Sakura Drop Essence

Seems it´s time to finally review one of my favorite fall releases this year. Honestly most of the time Integrate is a quite bland and non-descript brand with good lipsticks/glosses and mediocre eyeshadows.
This year they came up with some cuter stuff, especially their lovely new eyeshadow quads called "Rainbow Grade Eyes".
I got all the items from Mihokoshop who offered really excellent service as usual =)

I ordered 2 of the Rainbow Grade Eyes but decided to only use 1 of them as the 2nd one was just a bit too warm for my liking.
I also got 2 of the new Diamond Star Rouge lipsticks and the Sakura Drop Essence, a lip care/base.

The Rainbow Grade Eyes come in small cases and cosist of 4 powder shadows and a creamy base arranged in the cutest way as you can see on the pics.
The cream base is very dry so it almost feels like a powder but this means it´s a great base as it´s not greasy. It has a gorgeous pearl sheen without any shimmer and is also a really pretty highlighter to use on the inner 1/3 of the eyes.

The 3 powder shades in the heart shape are quite silky and smooth but not powdery and they blend nicely but don´t smudge easily. They all have good pigment and a nice metallic and shimmery finish, but finely milled shimmer so it´s very pretty.

The striped shade at the bottom left is a sheer glitter shade which is nice to add an extra bit of sparkle to the lids or below the brows. Still I am not much a fan of glitter shades so a nice regular highlighter or maybe a bright contrasting color would have been nice instead.
The shadows wear well and neither crease nor fade on me in this cool dry weather. I can´t predict if they will hold up so well in humid and hot weather.

BR701: Definitely the palette that caught my eye first. A combination of cool taupes and beige with an off-white cream base and a slightly blue-tinged white rainbow powder. Love this palette and have been using it several times already!

BR302: A solid palette in neutral browns, though a bit too warm for my taste so this remained untouched and unswatched =) This will be listed on my sale blog soon I guess.

I might get the purple and green versions later...let´s see =)

The new Diamond Star Rouge lipsticks are very good lipsticks as they are smooth, moisturizing and have a very nice luminous finish (aka shimmery an glossy). They are sheer but with a few swipes they show up really well. Lasting power is average since this is a range of glossy and smooth lipsticks one can´t expect a very long wear.

These are neither fragranced nor flavored. Retail price is about 1575 Yen for (only!) 2.2g.

PK333:The standard light nude pink
RS771: A brownish mauve shade

The Sakura Drop Essence is a lip balm in a squeeze tube. It has a very light pink tint (almost not visible on lips) and a texture like vaseline. I love the slightly sweet taste this has (very subtle and soft) and the thick texture which is great as an overnight treatment. I also love using a super thin layer of this under my lipsticks and glosses as a base.

The Sakura Drop Essence gives a glossy finish so it´s also pretty to wear it on its own.

Retail price 840 Yen for 7g.
Overall definitely a great little collection and very worth checking out! =D
