Jelly Pong Pong Jelly Flush soft, jelly-textured cheek stain

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)!
Jelly Pong Pong provided me with yet another cute product: The Jelly Flush Cheek Stain. It´s a jelly-like blush stick with a translucent finish.

This comes in a push-up stick, please make sure to remove the clear plastic cap covering the top of the jelly which is a bit hard to remove.

The Jelly Flush is nicely scented with a fruity fragrance and is a red translucent stick with a very "melty" texture and a glowy but not shimmery finish...to me it´s not really a jelly though but more of a solid.

The stain is really sheer but can be layered and it blends well on my cheeks. I like the translucent red finish as it´s quite natural that way.
What I don´t like so much is that the stick leaves small pieces as the texture doesn´t spread so easily at first but those can be just crushed with the fingers and blended out and the stain feels a little sticky at first.
The cheek stain lasts all day long on me and doesn´t irritate my skin.

Overall this is actually a really nice cheek stain and in a very flatterng color. It shows up well on my fair skin but since it´s very sheer I cannot say how well it would work for ladies who are more tan.

For those interested you can check the cheek stain and order it here.

Jelly Pong Pong Wide Awake Palette

If you see this post on another site than lotuspalace.blogspot.com it has been stolen and used without my permission. I only allow reposts with proper credits for my work (please contact me first!)

Jelly Pong Pong kindly sent me over some new products to test and review a while ago and since I got delayed with my reviews due to my exam it´s time to finally start!

The first item I am going to review is the Wide Awake palette for primp your eyes!
The palette itself is really cute, I love the sweet design and even though it´s a cardboard palette it feels really sturdy and well-made to me.

The Wide Awake palette contains 3 colors of eyebrow powder, an illuminating cream and a highlighter cream. Furthermore there is a mirror, an eyebrow powder brush and a pair of tweezers.

The creams are infused with candellila and beeswax and other good stuff. The items have not been tested on animals.
The illuminating cream is a light peachy slick cream which feels quite moisturizing however it can crease when used on the eyelids. The level of pigment is sheer to medium but still this product makes my eyes look awake and fresh.

The highlighting cream is a bit lighter and with a pale yellow tint. Like the other cream it´s quite slick and miosturizing and can crease when worn on the lids.
I like using this on the top of my cheeks, nosebridge, forehead and chin.
I recommend using both creams with a layer of powder on top for better lasting power.

The 3 eyebrow powders should suit most hair colors, I like using the darkest one as my hair is a deep brown color right now.
The included brush is a good helper in applying the eyebrow powder and the small tweezers get the job done well, too!

Overall this is a good eye-brightening and eyebrow-defining palette very worth purchasing.

Jelly Pong Pong Venus Magical Pearls Goddess Skin & Lip Orchid Petal Pink

Here are the last 2 Jelly Pong Pong products I have here to review for you =)
I reviewed several items here (Muffin & Cherry Meringue Gloss Set) and here (Shadow Taffy and Nude & Improved Eye Shadow Base).

I received the Lip Orchid in Petal Pink and the Venus Magical Pearls in Goddess Skin.

The Lip Orchid is an adorable and rather large jar of lipgloss with a "buttery consistency" and added Aloe Vera extract and Vitamin E to keep your lips soft and smooth. On top of the cover is a cute pink orchid blossom (of course one made of fabric) which is something so typical Jelly Pong Pong! (They totally rock the super adorable, sweet and kawaii packaging!)

The gloss in the color Petal Pink feels more like a cream or stain to me, not a gloss really. The finish is shimmery and gorgeous but not really mirror-shine. The Lip Orchid packs a lot of pigment so applying this like a stain (just patting on a little with your finger) gives a very pretty soft pink flush. This seems to dry down a little so it lasts very well unlike regular lip gloss.

The color Petal Pink is a super bright hot pink which would be a perfect color for summer (the whole product for me screams summer!) so I will definitely wear it in summer as this is such a fun color!

I think there are only 2 colors, the other one is an orangey shade as far as I can judge.

The Venus Magical Pearls are an interesting eyeshadow/face product. You get a jar filled with beautiful shimmery pearls. Just swipe your eyeshadow or blush brush across the beads and you get the color you initially see. If you take a bead and crush it on the back of your hand or any other surface there is another color hidden underneath.

The color I received is Goddess Skin which is an amber bronze color with an olive green core. I don´t dig the amber color that much because it simply is a color that doesn´t go well with my skin-tone. However blending a little of it in my eye creases is very pretty and I really love the olive green! It´s such gorgeous metallic shade of green (I best pick this up with a sponge applicator of a fine brush not to mix it with the amber too much).

Overall a very interesting product and I like it very much! Stays on well all day and the metallic glimmer is just gorgeous! There are various colors available so I think most ladies would find a combo they like =)

Jelly Pong Pong Shadow Taffy + Nude & Improved Eye Shadow Base

Here is my review for 2 more products from Jelly Pong Pong (the site ships to the EU, USA and other selected destinations) =)
When I saw the Shadow Taffy in my package kindly provided by the Jelly Pong Pong customer service I gasped as it was such a pretty little box shaped like a bird cage with a birdie sitting inside! How cute is that?

The little bird is sitting on top of the (quite huge) compact housing 2 eyeshadows. There seems to be only one color combo and honestly when I opened the compact I first thought this stuff must be for my face, not eyes as one color was a shimmery copper and the other one bright pink.

The Shadow Taffy is "thicker than a cream, more long-lasting than a mousse" (click on pic to read the details...there is also a promo code printed =) )

Anyways, the texture is very creamy and well pigmented. It doesn´t dry down like e.g. the Hydro-Powder from Shiseido so I was worried this would turn into crease city. However when I wore the copper shade all day long (over the Nude & Improved Eye Shadow Base which will be reviewed below) there was only minimal creasing and the sheer metallic glazed look was seriously pretty even though I am usually staying away from copper!

I think this would look amazing especially on blue or green eyes (it brings out the greenish flecks in my eyes, too!)!

In all honesty i am a bit intimitated by the pink shade lol! I just don´t use these kind of colors on my eyes but it makes a fab blush!

The Nude & Improved Eye Shadow Base is a thick wood pencil. The base itself is very creamy and spreads perfectly without tugging etc. It also covers the color of the lids very well providing a smooth base.

It held the Shadow Taffy in place well so I am very pleased with its overall performance!

The only little draw-back is that the color is too dark for me. The color is "Bare" which will probably fit the majority of ladies but since I am so pale it´s a bit too dark. Not a problem when I want to wear darker colors but doesn´t work with lighter ones for me. There are 3 colors to choose from so I think it would fit a variety of skin-tones.

Overall I am happy with both the products and will continue using them! The sizes are as usual very generous and the packaging is too cute for words and so very uniquely Jelly Pong Pong!

Jelly Pong Pong Muffin & Meringue Gloss Set

I´ve been given the oppurtunity to test and review a few products from Jelly Pong Pong and here is my first review =) If you are interested in this brand then go to their website. They ship within the EU, to the USA and other selected destinations.
Jelly Pong Pong is a very interesting edgy brand with the most kawaii and adorable kind of packaging you can find!

Here is more info:

Among the goodies was this super adorable box which looks like it could house some pretty cute candies but in fact it contained 2 lip glosses.

The box is actually quite big and so are the lipglosses as each tube contains a whopping 22ml which is about 2x-3x as much as regular lipgloss contains!
The tubes are small and fat and super cute =) They remind me of those bubble gum in tubes I liked to purchase when I was a kid!

The included glosses are Cherry Meringue and Muffin Gloss. Cherry Meringue comes in a light blue tube whereas Muffin in a light pink one. I just love the cute prints on the tubes!

The glosses are scented and have a sweet taste. Not too strong at all however I am just not used to sweet lipgloss so I constantly lick my lips =P

The gloss texture is very thin and slick but it dries down a little on my lips leaving more of a soft stain than an ultra glossy finish. I quite like this but I honestly prefer a bit thicker glosses but probably because I am just used to them.

The colors are really pretty, Muffin is a light pink and Cherry Meringue is a soft sheer red.

All in all I enjoy the glosses very much and I am sure they will last me forever since each tube is so generously sized!
