As I already had announced in my previous post about Etude House's single shadows & fillable palette I decided to try out some shadows from their cheaper price range (3000 Won/each) which is called "Pretty Darling Eyes".
The diameter of the shadow pans is slightly smaller than the more expensive ones but otherwise there aren't many differences.
The texture is similar though the Pretty Darling Eyes are a bit less silky. The pigment is medium I'd say so they're good value for money. All the shadows I got have a highly pearly/shimmery finish.
They aren't the most striking fantastic eyeshadows out there but they're good enough to pick up a few and they look very cute in their little compacts!
Just like the 4500 Won shadows you can palette the Pretty Darling Eyes shadows in those cute empty trio cases that retail for 2500 Won.
I decided to get 6 single shadows and both available palettes to make a couple of customized trios.
I am currently in a neutral and smoky eye makeup phase so no wonder I ended up with so many neutral colors. However I decided to purchase that unique bright green to spice things up a bit =D
There is an array of 32 colors to choose from in all colors of the rainbow so I am sure you'd find some colors you'd like.
I got the following colors (trio 1):
BR301: light ivory
BR302: light peach
BR304: taupe brown
And in the other trio are:
PK004: pale pink
GR601: bright turquoise green
WH705: dark gray
All in all I am happy with my cute palettes and will continue collecting singles to palette them.
Dear Etude House, if you read this: Please release palettes that take 6 or more shadows. Thanks! =D
