Since I got interested in the Bihada Ichizoku line and I am really into Japanese bath powders these days I decided to order duo packs of the 4 available powders from Jpmon for NT$199/duo pack (that is NOT cheap...about US$3/single packet! Still cheaper than Lush though hehe).
So considering these are rather expensive bath powders I expected great relaxing baths with them.
And I have to admit that these are indeed nice! All 4 smell good and one of them even gives the water a very lovely purple color.
The 4 ones I got (on the pic from left to right... those are not their actual names though hehe):
- Milky Rose -
gives a milky color and smells softly of roses (very yummy, not so artificial like the Happy Bath Day stuff!).
Contains hyaluronic acid and platinum.
- Relaxing -
smells fresh and soothing. The water gets a murky brown color though
Contains hyaluronic acid, white birch extract, hydrolized silk, aloe bella, mugwort extract
- Orchid -
smells very fresh and yummy herbal with a bit of orchid (that's what it smells for me anyway). Tints the water a pretty purple!
Contains papaya fruit extract, burdock extract, show kyo extract (?), brandy mint extract, aloe bella, hyaluronic acid; angelica, chamomile, fennel, sage, parsley, rosemary and thyme extracts.
- Hot -
this is formulated with pepper but I honestly didn't get any tingling/hot/sweating problem hehe. Smells rather bland and looks yucky gray so this is my least fave.
Contains sulfuric acid, haiyan (?), red pepper extract, rosemary oil, grape seed oil, hyaluronic acid, show Kyo extract (?)
All of the powders leave my skin very soft but not overly moisturized.
I'd say these are a really nice indulgence and they're so cute in their little bags with anime girls (Sara Bihada, her sister and another gal? No idea hehe) but I still love my Tabinoyado powders more as they just give such pretty colors to the water, smell so yummy and fresh and are quite a bit cheaper in comparison.
Each bag contains 25g and retails for 180 Yen.

I also enjoyed these bath salts as well.
However, the peppery hot one wasn't so great for me. I have to agree there was no heat and it also gave me rashes =(
Thank you for the review. I like the ingredients of the sachets you have described...The rose one sounds really wonderful with pink bathing water...mmmm
Love the artwork on those. Thank you for the review!
I am such a Bihada Ichizoku Bath Powdey fanatic - I am glad that you like them too!
I love these as well as the sheet masks they have. Btw, it's Sara Bihada, her sister and her mom. I know, wow, mom looks amazing!
