I stumbled across a tiny Korean brand recently which looked cute and worth checking out so I decided to order a bunch of stuff.
The brand is called Belita Lala "My Secret Editor" which sounds a bit funny to my ears.
Their lineup is very limited, just consisting of a handful of items.
I purchased 1 kit for 29700 Won (about US$23) which pretty much contains most of their products (the retail value is about 56000 Won so this is a pretty sweet deal...seller belitalala on Gmarket).
-Multi Effect All Day BB Cream SPF21 50g:
Of course one of Belita Lala's few products is a BB Cream. It only comes in 1 shade which is a super pale neutral cream working perfectly for me. I have had a bit of bad luck with my most previous batch of BB Creams (most are too dark and/or too yellow for me....Comparison will follow soon) so I was very happy to see that this BB Cream works so well.
The Multi Effect All Day BB Cream also is supposed to whiten and fight wrinkles.
Some ingredients are Vitamin E, Alianthus Altissima Bark Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract and Black Garlic to provide nutrition and moisture to the skin.
The cream carries a light slightly herbal scent and provides sheer-medium coverage. The texture slightly thick and spreads evenly to a slightly dewy finish. Don't worry, there is no glitter or shimmer in the cream though. I think this should fit most skin-types unless super dry or super oily ones.
I am very pleased with this BB Cream and would recommend it to anyone who's very pale.
Comes in a pink squeeze tube and retails for 23000 Won (according to the website).
As always a swatch will be posted along with my next BB Cream Quick Comparison (should follow within a few days)
-Multi Effect All Day Sun Care SPF40 PA++, 60g:
This is a face sun protection cream in a cute light blue squeeze tube. According to the box this protects even sensitive skin types by blocking UVA and UVB rays. The formula is water-resistant and is suitable to be used as a makeup base or on its own. It has a non-sticky texture and provides your skin with the ideal amount of moisture.
I haven't really tried this out yet but it's a white cream with a light glowy finish. It doesn't feel sticky as Belita Lala claims and feels indeed moisturizing.
There are a few botanical ingredients like Aloe Vera and Portulaca Oleracea Extract.
Retails for 13900 Won
-Dramatic Shiny Gloss:
The gloss is one of the freebies so they sent a random color. There are only 3 colors available anyway. To my luck I got #2 Pink Blossom which was the one I would have picked anyway.
The gloss offers good pigment so the color you see will actually show up well. The texture is not too sticky and lasts decently.
Overall a nice gloss and the color #2 is a very pretty soft spring pink.
Retails for 12000 Won
-Oil Control Paper:
This is a very nifty product. It's a roll of oil control paper in a cute pink container that allows you to just tear off the amount of paper you need. The paper has little hearts printed on.
I don't really need oil control papers but I can imagine these are very nice to take along.
Retails for 4900 Won
-100% Cotton Ion Puff 210pcs in box:
These are some of the nicest softest cottons ever. I think the cotton pads they sell here are real crap compared to some you can get from Japanese and Korean brands.
I got 210 pcs in a pretty large pink box which will last me quite a while.
The contton pads are sort of quilted and feel super soft and don't fuzz (something super annoying, especially when used for manicures).
The retail price for 5 boxes of cottons in 9900 Won which is a steal in my opinion (judging from what cottons cost here)
I also received 3 sachets of the BB Cream and 3 sachets of the sun cream.
The first 3 readers to email me will receive 1 BB Cream and 1 sun cream sample sachet.
***All sets are taken. Thanks for understanding!***
All in all the quality of Belita Lala is excellent and I hope to see more items added to their line-up soon.
